EXHALE

EXHALE

I asked with a feigned sad look. He laughed as he told on his full height, "how old are you Bethany? “ "Twenty," I lied smoothly. He smiled, “you lie, here it says you're eighteen." he looked at me with a 'really now' look. "Argh oh come on." "Multiple piercings, cuts, tattoos. What else is hiding under your clothes Bethy?" I narrowed my eyes when he mentioned cuts, I immediately went serious. I wrapped my fingers tightly around his wrist. "You can't say a word about the cuts, do you get?"

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

“Welcome…” Xyla looked at the prettiest sales assistant with short hair in front of her. “I’d like to have a closer look at the pair of silver high heels by the display window. Could you bring it to me so I could try it on? I’m size 37,” Xyla said. The sales assistant with short hair seemed overjoyed. “Sure, sure… I’ll get it for you right away. Ms. Quest, Mr. Batton… Please come with me and have a seat over here…”

The storyline is too good to be true! I love all the leads and emotions are shown very clearly... but nowadays, it looks like story is still dragged out... same drama, same praises, same scandals... either this should end on a good note or may be Author should change the perspective.
Peachy Barbadillo
a lot is going on with the story and I feel like Stanley was being left behind in this story...I think y should focus more on the two main character...where is Stanley's point of view when xyla were being attack and bullied..that's all but great story though but decided to drop it...

His darkness

His darkness

Xander let out a snort, making me raise my brows in response. “I have eight cars and four motorcycles.” I could tell my eyebrows were connected with my hair, I was that surprised. He smiled- more like smirked at me as he turned the engine on and drove off, clearly proud and pleased with his wealth. I couldn’t really blame him. Xander’s phone cut the silence around us as he pressed the speaker button without even checking the name. Before he could speak, the others beat him to it. “I made a new friend today.” The male spoke, obviously happy by his tone.

Kat says directly to Ana. "Na day of she dey (She gave her self a day off), " Sophia jokes, making Kat chuckle. Within the three girl's Ana was the eldest, but you wouldn't be able to tell, because of her tiny stature, she looked nineteen, but in the real sense, she was twenty-one, while Kat and Sophia were both twenty. The three of them paid the rent, although they had few persons who came to squat with them. "I'm just broke." Ana hisses. "That stupid girl I dey take hold body don fuck up," Ana says.

The billionaire i Married by mistake

The billionaire i Married by mistake

SAY NO TO THREE-CENTURY LOOPS! Fourth Rose and Noah Carter, 233, sat hand-in-hand near the window—Noah wearing his legendary 218-hole hoodie, his eyes full of profound warmth as he watched his great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-granddaughter behind the counter. James XIX, 28, stood stoically near the doorway, holding a digital slate that monitored the zero-profit trust managing one hundred and ten thousand hospitals, sixteen thousand stroller garages, and endless public university scholarships across two hundred countries.

Alpha’s Forbidden Mate

Alpha’s Forbidden Mate

By noon, the city awoke to a yellow boiling haze, and Carolina came in from the yard with her braid unspooled, thrumming with purpose. She scattered garden mud across the tile and went straight for the battered laptop Xander kept on a perpetual trickle charge, careful not to knock the resurrection rig he’d slaved together from breadboards and old drone parts. She shoved aside yesterday’s fingerprints of jam, keyed in the passcode—Xander’s own middle name, which she used as leverage every time they fought—and opened the daily feed.

Chapter 23: The Ghost in the Passenger Seat The rain had turned into a thick, grey fog by the time we reached the perimeter of the Grey Sector. Julian had secured a vehicle—a nondescript, matte-black sedan that looked like a shadow on wheels. It had no license plates and no GPS. In 2026, a car without a digital footprint was more expensive than a mansion, but Julian drove it like he had owned it for lifetimes. The silence inside the car was suffocating.

As soon as her fingers touched the smooth flat silver surface, it lit up like a Xmas tree. On the dashboard, another screen came up beneath the first, and what looked like faces started flashing by. It stopped what seemed like two minutes later, and there was a picture of a very young girl there. She couldn't be more than five or six. "Roxanna Carmichael. Age twenty-three." Mancini's voice intoned as the rest of us grew silent.

Her grip was surprisingly strong. “I have a granddaughter whose name is Madeline and she is twenty-two. She is very beautiful,” she told me and I forced a smile nodding. Then gently, I released my hands. The next order was from a girl who kept staring at my face. “Um… what is your order?” I asked again for the fifth time. I felt uneasy with her staring at me. Other customers were waiting. She stared for some time more before giving her order. She and some others even asked for my number which I politely decline and finally, the school students flooded out.
