Surprisingly enough, I saw Xander at the gathering. In the past, he hated attending business gatherings the most. He felt that everyone kept speaking in riddles to him. Not only that, he was forced to lick their boots and make small talk. To him, those people were fake on the inside. But now, Xander sat next to Mr. Sanders with a stiff smile slapped on his face. He even stammered out compliments just to kiss up to Mr. Sanders. "Over here, Dana!" Mr. Sanders beckoned at me to sit next to him.

Amber looked happy with Mattheo like I'm not supposed to feel jealous but not even a little. I just wished that I went back in time and saw what Alexandra was made of.
