Sinclair takes another step forward, clearly ready to either tear Xander to pieces or take him into custody – I honestly don’t know which – Xander – an old, wrinkled man with cruelty in every line of his face - just smirks up at Sinclair, not moving an inch. But the Atalaxian speaker – a high-ranking senator himself – steps forward then, interceding. “Alpha Sinclair,” he says, his word heavy with the acknowledgement that my mate is not yet King, “Duke Xander is a protected member of our delegation – an Ambassador. If you harm him or take him into custody, it will be considered an act of war.”

Xander was having dinner with a business partner at their house. He had come to Silas City for the inauguration of a joint project with the Anderson Group. Mr. Kevin Anderson, president of Anderson Group, had invited him to dinner at their mansion. Xander had never involved himself in these types of family dinners with a business partner, but the Andersons were longtime friends of the Blakes. His grandfather would have wanted him to attend the dinner. William had kept his distance from him for the past five years, but Xander still attended the dinner to honor his sentiment before returning to Zavion City.

The driver’s face was swollen up from the beating, and he stared at Kayson viciously as he replied, “Logan Zabinski.” Kayson nodded and said, “I heard from Mr. Walton Sr. that you said I’ll die if we don’t release you? Who do you work for?” Logan stared at Kayson and replied, “I work for Mr. Xander Campbell!” Kayson did not know him, but Bradley frowned and said, “Xander Campbell? When did we offend him?” He then explained to Kayson, “Xander is a famous entrepreneur in Clouspring. He has many companies under his name, and all of them are large corporations.

“Mr. Xander.” The contact lasted barely a second before she withdrew her hand. Her gaze slid past him without lingering. She remembered Zac and Skyla both saying he was injured. If they were talking about it, it had to be serious. Yet he looked perfectly fine. “Mr. Xander,” her colleagues said eagerly. It was her two colleagues’ first time meeting Chris in person. He was the man at the helm of the Xander empire, known for his decisive and ruthless tactics in the business world, yet strikingly handsome in a way that drew attention the moment he entered a room.

Michael turned and stared at Ivanka silently. “Mr. Quinn?” Anna and Sandy exchanged glances. Their eyes lit up! Xander was a very skillful doctor. Many wanted to hire him as a member of top management in their hospitals. However, Xander had his own private hospital, and business was good. Hence, everyone stopped setting their sights on him. Anna held Sandy’s hand tightly and nodded at her to calm her. Sandy gradually calmed herself. She looked up at Michael and started to have a better impression of him. At least, he did not stand idly by at this critical moment. He sought help from Xander, and this showed that Michael was not entirely merciless.

Surprisingly enough, I saw Xander at the gathering. In the past, he hated attending business gatherings the most. He felt that everyone kept speaking in riddles to him. Not only that, he was forced to lick their boots and make small talk. To him, those people were fake on the inside. But now, Xander sat next to Mr. Sanders with a stiff smile slapped on his face. He even stammered out compliments just to kiss up to Mr. Sanders. "Over here, Dana!" Mr. Sanders beckoned at me to sit next to him.

But don't worry we'll be your friends from now on. Xander spoke in a sweet voice as he extended his right hand forward. Evelyn looked at him nervously. He then took her hands and did a handshake. Xander: I am Xander Knights. Brandon jerked his hands away and shook hands with her. Brandon: Myself Brandon Tate. But you call me Bear. He spoke as he flashed her his beautiful box smile and made a cute face. Xander look at him with a disgusted face. Xander: Don't do that, you look terrible.

“Xander, how did the last dose go? You seemed to have done what you said you wouldn’t do.” Xander only stared at the eldest among the brothers before looking away. “I have no choice. I lost sensation from the chest down. They just gave me a remote-controlled wheelchair to help myself. The doses worked for a moment hours after injection. I really want to believe the cure will fix me now.” He settled next to the long couch, closer to Brian. “Dad, I think his name is Brian Hopper, a newbie detective. He’s friends with Janelle, Delta, and Wolfram. Forgive him a bit.”

He walked towards the Alpha, Xander. "You must be travelers since you don't smell like rogues. I'm Alpha Cole St Collins of the St Collins pack, can someone please tell me what the hell happened here?" Xander squared his shoulder. He is the same height with Cole 5.8ft. He walked towards him cautiously. "Alpha Cole, I am Xander Valsher , son of Alpha Mathew Valsher from Valsher pack in Arkansas this here are my pack mates. My mate Lydia, my brother Thomas and my sister Melissa, my friends Adrian and Carl.

Xander lifted that bimbo off his lap, rushed to the stranger behind me, and did a brotherly hug and ruffled the stranger's hair. Drake and Xander had similar features but drake was slightly shorter than Xander about 6'3 probably. He had strong grey eyes unlike Xander's ocean blue eyes, other than that they had features similar to each other. They both had blemish-free radiant skin that had a healthy glow to it. Both had lean built and strong aura around them. They both were incredibly handsome, there was no doubt in it. After their little gesture, Xander took a seat opposite me near Tyra. And Drake took a seat beside me.
