He opens his card to reveal a drawing of five little stick figures of him, Christine, Kai, me, and Xavier and he drew our names above all our heads with a heart in the middle of all of us. "Thank you, bubba. I love it." he says, kissing his head and hugging all of them.

I exclaimed as he look back at the road. "You've got a beautiful voice, little one." he said amazed with his mouth wide. "Thank you" I squeaked out. I heard him chuckle beside me as I blushed.

Her eyes lands on the rippled back of her beloved Xander. He is sitting on a stool, a canvas lying on the floor beside him, and a canvas in front. Which he is painting. "Did I wake you, angel??" Startled Iris puts her hand on her chest and takes a deep breath," you scared me." she says, shaking her head. To which Xander only chuckles. Now standing close, behind him, Iris peeks to see what is the drawing but gets surprised, seeing that he drew nothing in particular, only different colors of all shades scattered all over the canvas as if his mind failed, to decide and hence he poured whatever came into his mind.

“I saw the way you looked at him.” I didn’t answer. “He’s changed,” Camille said. “Or maybe we just never saw the full picture before.” “He’s Xavier,” I whispered. “He always has an angle.” “Maybe. But not with her.” Camille glanced toward the living room where Eva was drawing on the floor. “That’s real. Whatever he feels for her…it’s not fake.” I followed her gaze. Eva had drawn something in crayon. A little house. Three stick figures holding hands. One had a crown. One had long hair. The last had messy scribbles for hair and was labeled: Angel Xavy.

It was a rare sight to see Xavier in such high spirits. He had returned to the office after making strange demands and changing into casual clothing. It was evident that something had happened to put his boss in an unusually contented mood and happy mood. Xavier settled back into his chair, a small but genuine smile still playing on his l*ps as he held a piece of paper in his hands. The paper revealed a child’s doodling, and Axel couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow, his curiosity piqued. “It’s a drawing of me. Liam made it,” Xavier answered Axel’s questioning gaze with a soft chuckle.
