"Get some rest, bookworm?" The pure silent world rose a deep voice, a little bit rough. Kitty was so into the book that it took a second to realize she was not on the run with Jean Valjean. She would have remembered she was trying to distance herself from Erebus, the too attractive man that was her poison if it wasn't the tray in front her-- "Wow! It smells greattt!" Kitty threw herself to the table, leaving the cozy corner she was curling in.

The little black cat curled up in her lap as usual. "Tonight we find out the real skinny on this, kitty," she murmured as she opened the heavy book to the page she had marked. "I don't even know what I'm looking for any more but I hope I find it soon." She opened the book to the place she'd marked, two pages of hand-drawn sketches. One of the drawings especially caught her eye. The face of the wolf looked almost human and she had the bizarre feeling the animal was staring out at her from the page.

Three-year-old Theo, with his curious eyes and tousled hair, snuggled up close, his little hand reaching out to touch the colorful illustrations on the pages. "Once upon a time in a faraway land," Mama Hazel began, her voice gentle and melodic, "there lived a playful fox named Oliver. He had a bright orange coat and a mischievous twinkle in his eye." Theo's eyes widened in wonder as he listened intently, captivated by the tale unfolding before him.

I wondered, sifting through the dust. “Master, take a look at this,” Kitty called out, gesturing toward a tattered leather book lying in the dirt. I approached it, bending down to pick it up. I blew off a thick layer of dust, revealing the word faint on the cover: Diary I turned to the first page. The faded handwriting read: Today I gave birth to my babies, but one is human and the other is a werewolf... Elora said she would kill them. What should I do?

"Oh my Gosh!" Alyssa exclaimed after seeing all the things on a particular page.

I pointed my pointer finger towards my private area and bounced a little bit so he would get the picture that I had to pee. Alpha Knox scratches the back of his neck. "Uh, Kitten do you gotta pee?". He arches his perfect eyebrow. I nodded. He lifted me up again only this time I wrapped my arms around his neck. The sparks from our touch scent joy to my heart , I actually might have a mate that actually cares?. "Here you go Kitten, if you want to shower you can I'll lay you a shirt on the bed". I nodded a shower sounded nice. "Dinner should be ready when you're done, can you find your way back?". I nodded.

Shock vibrated through him. “Katherine?” He lifted his brows. “Is Kat her nickname?” “Yes.” “The first time I called you Kat, you threw a temper. If you recall, I was comparing you to a wild animal. You weren’t the pussycat I had thought you were. After that, I called you Kat just to see you react.”

This time, I was going to turn those tables. Quickly I searched on his website and found the advert for the new strippers. I logged in and created my profile as I applied with a coded name, Kitty. The moment I was done with that, I searched for a number. A couple of rings afterwards and he picked up the phone.
