Longing for the Unreachable

Longing for the Unreachable

"If you want me to forgive you, then wait three years." He lit up, then faltered. "Why three years?" "I'm going overseas to study. It might take longer. If you don't want to wait—" "I'll wait," he cut in, almost tripping over the words. "If it means you'll forgive me, I'll wait for as long as it takes..." He kept talking, piling promise after promise. However, I didn't listen to any of them. All I heard was him saying, again and again, that he would wait.

Yearning for Her Return

Yearning for Her Return

So, the quote stayed in her mind. The gorgeous scenery ahead made her think of the lucky quote just then. She told herself she wouldn't have enjoyed this view if David hadn't kidnapped and brought her here. The mist covered a vast plot of this land with mountains and a lake. It was worth the demanding journey here. Blinking in shock, she continued to stare at the view. Then, she recited a famous Emily Dickinson poem. Her soothing voice harmonized with the chirping birds. "The mountain sat upon the plain. In his eternal chair, his observation manifold, His inquest everywhere. The seasons prayed around his knees, like children round a sire: Grandfather of the days is he, of dawn the ancestor."

Ellen Addawe
I like the depth of this book, the character of the FL wherein she learns a lot in her life experiences, her moving on from the past and enjoying her life in the present. Not the typical love story wherein after all the heartaches, betrayal & rejection, still the FL gives the ML a second chance.

I stopped reading this book the moment Rebecca got married to someone else and Daniel is dying of late stage cancer, after all he suffered in the hands of his evil brother and family, I expected a happy ending for him and Rebecca but the writer chose other wise. He doesn't deserve this tragic ending

Tuberose

Tuberose

Emotions pour into the open sky, A symphony of heartache, a whispered sigh, Love's complexities, bittersweet, In the shadows, our souls do meet. I curl up in the cradle's embrace, Thoughts like constellations in space, A canvas of feelings, a universe to mend, Longing for a love that seems to transcend. The night winds whisper my name, Echoing my longing, my silent claim, My heart, a celestial light in the dark, Guiding me through love's intricate arc. In the night's quietude, I find release, My tears are a testimony, a plea for peace,

Nice story so far. Keep it up author but I think author should improve in her tenses and grammar. The story is nice one, I like the way she gave glimpses of what would happen in the story in the future. Nice book and story line author, keep it up. But Michael seemed pompous for my liking.

The story is great, the way you portrayed how your closed one (best friend ) can turn into a foe with time, how in one second everything changes and it hurts when you know you are right but no one trusts you. Well done btw, good luck

SAEKGUI : The Carnal Wraith of Twin Islands

SAEKGUI : The Carnal Wraith of Twin Islands

Rather than a man's dependable pillar, it was nothing more than a scrawny, withered branch snapping in a winter drought. In the darkness, Do-yeon bit her lip and squeezed her eyes shut. Her heavy, voluptuous breasts heaved massively like ocean waves. ‘Please... please, just for tonight...’ ‘Pound me ruthlessly. Fill the deepest tip of my womb to the brim.’ ‘Break me. Burn away this maddening thirst.’ Seven years had passed since their wedding. Her empty womb had never once rolled her eyes back in complete fullness. Her insides screamed. Her red core fluttered.

The Unplanned Marriage: Married to the Major General

The Unplanned Marriage: Married to the Major General

I went outside Just as I said I would last night You promised you would be there But you weren't there. I passed time staring at the skies It was beautiful Just like your eyes The wind blew across my face And I shivered at the contact A sudden cold spreading through me But I still stood waiting with a strong sense of determination I laid on the grass Hoping you would come soon To make me warm again But you never came. It is morning now And just like the night passed away My heart died as well.

SNATCHED MY HEART. (BL)

SNATCHED MY HEART. (BL)

no, stretch that, a million miles away. Your heart yearns for something or someone. You know these feelings too well... Your constant companion. There is an infinite craving trapped deep in your soul. You feel them protruding through your very being, clawing at your heart with such ferocity so much so you shuddered from it. You need a cure, an antidote...a total restoration. You know exactly where to find mitigation but the maddening realization of truth mocks you with that one simple awareness... Unreachable. You know what you need, you know your remedy but you can't reach it.

Fifty years

Fifty years

Six years in the fifty years, two years to the fifthiet year When i was a child, my mama used to sing me a poem when i woke up from the nightmares. She'd wipe my sweat and brush away the hair sticking to my face. These hands have subdued stubborn jungles unmasked fertile groves and plumbed the seedful promise of loamy plains The hands calloused like a tortoise shell have tended tendrils, joyous, in their leafy dance on the spine of stakes

Its All In The Eyes

Its All In The Eyes

With every like there was a gentleness on her face and her mind was filled with nostalgic memories And all along I believed I would find you Time has brought your heart to me I have loved you for a thousand years I'll love you for a thousand more Then Anya stops and mutters with the smile "Happy birthday Grandma Nan, I miss you!" Anya plays a tone and recites a poem Nights so cold, days so long All i can do is sing a sad song Wondering if its u i belong But where are u, what have gone wrong. Patiently waiting, days feel like years Hey babe, im dying with my fears Are u coming back, i cant dry my tears My lonely heart need ur smile that cheers.

The Mafia's Stolen Bride

The Mafia's Stolen Bride

With one hand gripping her long hair, I leaned in closer. "What do you see?" I whispered into her ear. The candle flickered erratically, casting a vivid light on her pensive expression and beseeching eyes. She still had no inkling of the depth of my longing for every part of her or what I desired from her at this moment. She had yet to acknowledge that, deal or no deal, our connection had never been severed. Years of yearning lay between us. Years of waiting. Years of life's burdens weighing us down, preventing us from truly embracing life.

temptation of desire

temptation of desire

Julian whispered against Adrian’s neck, his skin tingling with electrical heat as Adrian’s hands slid up his spine, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them. "And I am your fortress," Adrian replied, his voice a low, fierce promise that echoed in the quiet bedroom. They came together in a slow, explosive rhythm of fierce love and deep physical passion—a celebration of life, rebirth, and a devotion that had overcome the darkest depths of the sea. As the quiet stars shone high above the Pacific coast, Julian held Adrian tight, anchored in the arms of his true love, knowing that the storm was finally over, and his real life had just begun.
