Mira's Pov: I am Mira Parker, the daughter of the Alpha of the Crystal Mountain pack. We are the weakest pack in America, we are larger than before, but a lot of pack members left the pack, claiming they don't want to be called weakly because they are from the Crystal Mountain pack.

Beta Ryan was gay and unmated though no one knew that either. He had shared his secret with Myra in confidence and she had sworn to keep it. Of course she knew that many pack members would raise eyebrows at their living arrangements but that didn't matter to beta Ryan and she was also fine with it. There was change in her life, the positive kind, from having no one to having a friend, in fact , two. She had also befriended an omega with the name Crista. She was as kind as a kite and as beautiful as they come. She was the one who brought food for Myra at beta Ryans place.

I was as surprised as anyone else to hear she had disappeared. She said nothing about leaving.”

Six months later Ace and Sky have assumed the roles of Alpha and Luna within their pack. Krystal is on the verge of welcoming her first cubs—twin boys. Jackson comforted her with a promise to delve into their ancestry for answers. Krystal's abilities were limited to sensing and spellcasting, skills honed through training, and her capacity to transform into a wolf.

Centra told her. Clarissa swung around to see her new friend standing behind her. A small, sad smile tugged at the corners of Clarissa’s lips.
