Syren's Song
This lingered until I felt a presence beside me, a sort of coolness taking over my body, like the blood in my veins turning into cool water, calming any aches my body would've had.
I turned my head to find Remmi's eyes slowly going back to their original colour before she turned to offer me a small, sad smile.
"It doesn't last very long, but it should help a little with that migraine."
"My own personal Advil, I like it," I released a small giggle at my own joke, stopping when I noticed the confused look on her face as I realized she had no idea what I'm talking about.
"Nevermind," I shook my head, "Thank you."
