A breathy moan escaped my lips at his praise. This moment was exactly when I realized that all these years, I’d held myself back. Hiding beneath the veil of comfort. Seeing the world through rose-colored glasses because I was told I’d be feared. I was restricted by outside forces. Forced to dull myself down to conform. But not any longer. I don’t want to wear the mask anymore. I don’t want to feel like I can’t be myself. I may have to restrict my magic, but I will never hide who I am again.

"All of that is an excuse. I was a jerk, an annoying ass, and I would never try to hurt you. I was angry that I could not take the pain away because I am incapable of doing anything right for you." I open my mouth to counter him, but he does not stop or wait for me to speak before he goes on. "I have only always known how to hide. I want to step out for you and be there for you so that no one is ever able to hurt you, but I am haunted by myself more, and I can't move no matter how hard I try, and I am just useless," he said, and his head dropped. I take a deep breath and lift his head with my finger until we are staring at each other, so deep it is almost as if we are searching for something

He hummed looking at front. "Your silence is creeping the hell out of me you know. Means silence is necessary for brain growth but growing it too much just increase your problem. Sometimes decision made by heart proves beneficial too." L"isten staying shut is not wrong but stay hidden is. And the secret inside me? Would soon be impossible to hide.

Make them realize the pain and joy, but do it with humility and a blank mind to welcome comfort. There's nothing wrong in hiding for the right reason and getting out to prove your worth. Just go and be audacious. Be a warrior of your own words. Control the voices, and don't let them control you. 

" I can't be bubbly all the time. I have to have a switch that turns down my bubbliness. if you're that worried then I'll put you out of your misery I'm fine I'm just processing my feelings ." "You don't have to do it alone all of the new look and everything else but you and your look don't have to come with you cutting off everyone and not speaking to the people that care about you the most I know you going through something, you don't want to talk to me or anybody else and I'm not the type of guy to give up and I do things with intent. " "That's why I hide you because you don't cut corners and you do your job thoroughly. "

I can’t. But he already does. He already is. He stays. My breath is wild and desperate, the edges sharp against the edges of me, against the soft, vulnerable parts of me that I cannot contain, cannot keep, cannot keep hidden, cannot keep secret. The surface of my thoughts is an unsteady mess, an unsteady mess that threatens to spill, that threatens to leave marks, leave scratches, leave traces that I can’t cover, that I can’t hide, that I can’t conceal, that I can’t. I can’t.

But are monsters born naturally evil, or do they turn into one for some reason? It's been long overdue for me to answer that. A being like me, called a monster? I laugh at myself. I'm way more than that. It's funny how people are two-faced and yet judge another. Surely minding your own business doesn't hurt, but I guess, like me, they're greedy. Now, now. What are you greedy for, self? "Peace," I whisper under my breath.
