’’ When I gave a frantic shake of my head, he smiled even wider as if he intended to tease me even more. ‘‘Or perhaps we should pick one about your father…’’ he raised an eyebrow, shoving his hands into his jeans pockets. ‘‘I’m sure it’s somewhere inside the shelf, too…’’ ‘‘Alex, don’t you dare!’’ But he already looked through the books once more, and I heaved a heavy sigh when I saw a book entitled William Maxwell: Zero to One. Wow! From the title itself, I could tell that dad started from zero when he built his business.

Childishly, she stomps on it with her heeled boot to appease her rage before letting out a small scream of frustration. I watch her make a dramatic exit before stepping out from between the shelves a couple of seconds later, eyes cautiously searching just in case. Shaking my head in amusement I trace my way back to the storefront and settle on one of the sofa’s to read. I feel the need to arm myself with a lot of knowledge now that I know what I could become, the first book I’d picked is called History of Elementals. On the first page is the beautiful design of the black interlaced knots in the middle of the page. Seeing the knot, I’m reminded of my black triquetra tattoo and shift uncomfort

We were all monsters now. Adam had been the first to embrace what we were-werewolves, creatures bound by the moon. He'd called it a blessing, a gift from the Moon Goddess Selene. I softly smiled at them and closed the door. With Frederick assisting Uncle, I was left alone to wander around the house, and what better way to kill the time than to read books. So, my main target was finding the library. After a few dead-ends, I finally found what I was looking for. There's no surprise, the library was huge as well. I trailed my hands on the hard-bound books. Novels, grimoires, Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson.

I suggested, showing her the page. “No!” she shouted. I sighed. That was one of my favorites, because it told of the first beta, and I always thought of mine and Reid’s friendship. I flipped through the book some more until I ended up back at the very beginning. The first story, the story of our origins. “‘The First of the Wolves’?” I asked, peeking at her from the corner of my eye. Her eyes lit up, but then she forced a frown. However, it was too late. I had already seen her excitement.

I know it's been too long and you probably forgot the plot of the story itself (lol) but I knew it was my responsibility to complete this, so you can reread to refresh your memory and I hope you enjoy the journey. A Night With The Billionaire is my first book, one that opened so many opportunities for me and it'll always hold a special place in my heart. It may not be the best in term of editing, but I truly cherish this book and I promise to go back and re-edit both part one and two so it'd make a smoother and more enjoyable read for incoming readers, as well as those who'd be rereading.

Author's note: Hi everyone, sorry I have been posting one chapter at a time. I'm not even sure if anyone is reading this book, but I love writing. I have a whole series of the mafia series, but I was told to post this one first. After I get done, I might just post the very first book of the mafia series. I'm sure you will love it. My very first book was "The Alpha's Mate." That's my baby. It only has sixteen chapters written, but truthfully, I have been reading books for a long time, so I thought I would try my hand at writing.

I giggled, leaning back to nuzzle him for a moment before he started to talk to the brothers and I turned to Lisa, talking about the essay we had to write on the book we were reading. "I do not get what we're even meant to do." She sighed, flicked the pages of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. I giggled, slapping her hand to stop her. "I can help you, just need to pick a topic and I have some books that'll make it easier." I smiled at her. She rose her brow. "What kind of books?" I shrugged. "Ones about Adam, it made me love him to be honest." I felt the gazes behind me and turned to see Theo and the boys looking at me with raised brows.

“And I still prefer that but trust me, I read the book. It was literally the first book I’d read in my whole life.” “You are exaggerating but fine. What was the name of the book then?” “Let’s see if i remember,” Seb racked his brain. “It had a tacky title but it still managed to catch my eye.” “Tacky title?” Alex laughed. “Isn’t a bit too much to come from someone who literally knows nothing about books.” “I don’t know. It just seemed that way to me,” he shrugged. “Right, I finally remember. It was titled ‘In One Month’.”
