Chapter Three : Jay pov I told myself it didn't mean anything. The staring. The way my chest went tight when Cole Ashford looked at me. The fact that I replayed every word of that gym conversation while lying in bed at 2am, staring at my ceiling, my heart beating too fast. It didn't mean anything. I had a girlfriend. A good one. Maya was kind, beautiful, and somehow not turned off by my secondhand sweaters and calloused hands. She laughed at my stupid jokes. She remembered my coffee order. She deserved better than me obsessing over her older brother.

“Fine. What do you want from me, Xander? What is it?” Instead of answering, he pulled me close and leaned in to kiss me. “Don’t,” I said sharply, turning my face away. He paused with his lips mere inches from mine. “Why not?” “Because I have a boyfriend now,” I declared. He arched an eyebrow as a smirk spread across his face. “You mean Finn? The Alpha that succeeded your father?” He let out a low chuckle. “Don’t worry, Maya. You won’t end up with him.”

Her boyfriend tightened his grip on her waist while still moving inside her until he buried his length deep inside her, filling her with his hot juices. Both tired and panting, Xanthe rested her head on her boyfriend’s shoulder while she was still on top of his thighs, and he was still inside her. “Let’s do it again later.” Isis said, still catching his breath. “I’m still horny.” She laughed loudly and hugged her boyfriend. “Anything to make my baby happy.” Isis chuckled softly and then let go of her to stare at her. “I’m so lucky to have you. Don’t you dare change your mind about me.”

Xander spends the day charming every woman that walks into my shop. Several of them ask if he is a new worker. The first few times, Xander comes over and wraps his arm around me. “I’m her boyfriend, Alexander. Nice to meet you.” Most of them would whisper to me about what a lucky girl I am. Since they don’t know that he’s a werewolf who can hear everything, they don’t pay attention to his lips twitching every time, but I see it. Eventually, I just give up and start telling everyone that he’s my boyfriend.

Xavier pulls me closer to him, relief washing over him. "Lex.. don't you think I would be a great boyfriend?" Jax says, hurt appearing across his face. "Yes, Jax. I think you would make a great boyfriend." This time Xavier stiffens as he continues to hold me. Pulling me close to him, as though he doesn't want Jax to get any closer. I look up at Xavier, and smile. "Don't worry, I don't plan on making him my boyfriend." With that, Xavier sighs a breath of relief.

His attention went back to the screen and I turned mine to his book shelf to look for something to read. Vampires. Werewolfs. Romance. Teen Fiction. Mystery. Thriller. Historical. He's got a lot of books. Xavier's POV I looked at Royalty as she looked through my bookshelf for something to read. I knew girls rather shop than read and I found it quite interesting for a girl to be a bookworm. I was feeling something for her but I couldn't put my finger on it. I was slowly starting to enjoy being around her. I got up without making a sound.

He stared at her before responding a "Hi." "I'm Hazel and you are?" She tucked her hair behind her ear. "He's Xavier, my boyfriend." Xavier and the girl turned to see an annoyed-looking Bethany. "So back off and go face your studies." She told the girl, who rolled her eyes and walked out. Bethany turned to see a smile hanging on Xavier's lips. He was proud of his crazy girlfriend. "What?" Asked Bethany but only got a chuckle from Xavier. They rode the roller coaster and other fun stuff until it was time to go. They got into the car, their heads lay on the chairs exhausted.

He whispered, his voice trailing off. "You'd better not die, Xavier because I'm not publishing this book until next year." Letting out a sigh, and forcing a smile, he nodded his head, "Anyway, let me see your work. Excited to go through it." I watched as he walked over to the bed, sat down, and began to read. I sat down close to him, my face heating up as he read through the romantic scenes. As he read, he smelled the pages and looked at me with a smile. "Oh, my baby, my wife is good in writing, eh? Very nice kissing scene I see."

I said. "So today is the day where you publish your newest book and it's called The Real Deal. Can you tell us briefly what it is about?" The MC asked and I smiled nodding. "Well.. I don't want to spoil anything but it's based on my own love life. I wrote this book for my boyfriend, Ares, just to thank him for everything." I said and I turned to see Ares standing beside my dad. He smiled widely at me and I turned to the audience again nervously.
