Your Dad's Perfect

Your Dad's Perfect

“Yeah, yeah, Dad. I’ll take care of it. See you at home.” I have to fight the urge to laugh out loud. Dad. Of course. It’s almost too perfect. Mike, the tough guy who prides himself on his bravado, still answering to Daddy. I lean back further, smirking to myself. This night might turn out to be worth it after all.

Married To The Billionaire I Hate

Married To The Billionaire I Hate

“You think I don’t know that?” Dad was quiet for a moment. Then, in a tone that was softer but just as firm, he said, “You’re my son. I can’t stop you. But you better know what you’re doing.” I swallowed, my grip tightening around the phone. “I do.” Silence stretched between us before my father finally spoke again. “Alright. Then do it.” The call ended. I exhaled slowly, my fingers curling into a fist. Richard Hart was an arrogant, selfish bastard.

My Stepsister's Betrayal

My Stepsister's Betrayal

my father says, more sharply than I’m used to hearing him speak. Lysa looks irritated with his tone, but rather than say anything, she turns and stomps off. When we get to Will’s office, I help my father to a chair at the table while Will sits across from me. I sit beside Will and fold my hands. “Is this about the baby? I plan to redo my will to make sure my grandpup is well cared for,” Dad begins. “Dad, no. Thank you for that and I love you for wanting to care for grandpup, but this is about you. Will and I … we’re worried about you. You look exhausted, Dad.”

Her Sister’s Surrogate

Her Sister’s Surrogate

"I just need him to care about me. That's enough." "It's not enough," Dad said gently. "But I understand. Just... don't sell yourself short, sweetheart. You deserve someone who loves you completely." "I know." Even if I might never have it. "I'll be there this weekend," he said. "What about Mom?" He sighed. "I'll handle your mother. She's not going to like it, but she'll come around." I wasn't so sure about that, but I didn't argue. "Thank you, Dad."

DIVORCED: MY EX HUSBAND WANTS ME BACK

DIVORCED: MY EX HUSBAND WANTS ME BACK

"Thanks, Dad. How is Mom holding up?" Dad chuckles. "Your mom always feels her water is going to break everytime. I feel like I'm going to have an heart attack one day" I laughed. "You can't blame her. Her due date is near so she's bound to go into labour at anytime now" "True. The chicken wings is on the house, guys" Maxton rises up from his chair, hugging Dad tightly. "You're the best, Mr. V" I hated whenever Dad gave my friends and I free food. He needed to make a living as well, didn't he?. Work is work no matter what.

My son's father

My son's father

He smiled, “Well if you don’t like Lansing, there are a few towns that have been offering me jobs constantly, we can check those out. And I’d be happy to meet your father anytime.” Just then I got a text from my father, Dad: I’m coming home, I’ll be home in a few hours. Can you come by or can I meet you somewhere? I looked up at Ian, “Sure how about today?"

"I'll try dad but if she starts anything I can't promise I won't finish it." "Good enough. Give your old man a hug I gotta go." I didn't even bother telling him that I was too old for this shit, he wouldn't listen anyway, no more than mom does when she corners me. "It's all going to be fine son trust me." *** MANDY ***

Damn… whatever was in that tea was strong. Dad chuckled. “Your leg may be hurt, but your little guy is perfectly fine. I need you to make me a grandchild. I’m running out of time, and I think you need a little push.”

This book is incomplete, however, I’m still giving it 5 stars. This book is great and the author is a tremendously talented writer. This is the seventh book I’ve read that she has published on GN. I see her growth and I look forward to reading more of her work.

Thoroughly enjoyed this story, though felt like there could’ve been more of a storyline for the supporting characters love story… it definitely felt rushed! But overall definitely would recommend this book, lots of twists & plenty of action!

My Luna, My Son, My Regret

My Luna, My Son, My Regret

he emphasized, dumping a load of rocks deep into my gut. “What am I going to do?” I asked. Dad looks at me with a determined expression I haven’t seen in a long while. “It’s time I train you like my mother trained me. But I’m warning you, it won’t be a walk in the park.” He said. I met his gaze head-on. “I’ll do it.” Dad’s jaw clenched and he gritted his teeth. He looked unsure, but I could see his hesitation. “I have to do this. Mum won’t hold on for much longer,”

Love the story, writing was intense and keeps the storyline moving. I just would have like to have seen the family reunion. Overall amazing writing but be ready for some intense scenes that can trigger some of you. Happy reading!

Needs a little editing, but still really interesting. The author has a way of storytelling that helps you fully immerse yourself in the story. The FMC is the typical weak to strong, but the story has tons of potential. I hope the writer doesn't intend to rely on clichés/tropes.
