Hardin chuckled. "Don't call him that ever," Clara warned angrily. She was locked up in here because of them, when she got to the last step, she looked around carefully. It was a small bedroom, who would live in a fridge? Was this like a hideout of what? There was a bowl of fruits on the small table next to the bed, there was a wardrobe at the corner and a door which is suspect would lead to the bathroom, the only thing missing in here was a window, how could one breathe in here.

Stephanie’s POV I stood quietly in front of my locker trying to recall where I had kept my English language textbook when suddenly I heard a loud thud on my locker door. I was frightened but yes, I was also used to it. “Nerdy bitch” Stacy said to me rolling her eyes and walking away like she didn’t just almost give me a heart attack. I simply ignored and picked out the textbook that was hiding behind my Romance novel. Oh how I loved the sweet impossible imagination of having a lover.

Her stomach was growling but she didn't have the energy to go outside just to buy food to eat. Although she could use her smartphone for ordering online, her eyelids were beginning to flutter close at the sight of her peaceful bedroom, making it hard for her to even order anything. In contrast to the state of her apartment's living room, her bedroom was clean and well organized. The style of the room was minimal, where there wasn't even a single picture of anything from anywhere, just some furniture and stuff that is necessary for a person

Although they were pleased with how tall the building was, it was a mystery to them how their favorite person’s home was so small. The living room alone was the size of Lily’s princess room, where she kept her toys and played with them. "An apartment that's close to me." He said it plainly. "You'll have your own space. Your own room. You won't be missing anything — food, clothes, whatever you need, I'll provide it." I stared at him. "You're describing a cage." "I'm describing a significant upgrade from whatever you're currently living in." His eyes moved over me briefly "Which I'm guessing has a window that doesn't close properly."

Today really has done a number on my psyche. The tiny space of my apartment is barely big enough to fit all 5ft 2 of me, but it’s all mine. It’s a studio, with everything in one room apart from the teeny bathroom. The walls a chipped and scratched beige, the single window faces an alley that lets in more noise than light. But it’s so me. I’ve crammed every surface, every corner with pieces of me, forcing a splash of personality against the drab backdrop.
