7 years ago One afternoon, little Sophia was playing on her front porch. Her hands were playing with two Tedy Bear dolls by herself. One doll looked shabby, while the other looked brand new. Her innocent face was beaming with happiness, because this morning Jerry, her new neighbor, gave her a new doll. Little Sophia was very happy to get to know her new neighbor, because the middle-aged man loved her like her own daughter. "Sophia! That doll is mine!" Sophia's smile faded when her new doll was snatched by someone.

ESCAPE PLAN LISAS POV: Awoken by the sound of thunder and rain,I tried to see past my heavy eyelid. I could barely make out the shape of metal bars around me. “But I walked into a neatly designed room…how the hell am I here?..I must be dreaming”I laughed hard. I blinked once,then twice before pushing my torso up from the wet floor. Confused as to where I was,a thread of hope would be enough to pull me out of this place,for now,I was still ignorant of my surroundings.

“Sorry, just a message from my boyfriend. You wouldn't understand.” I rolled my eyes, finally finding my hair band. “Oh, save me the details. I’m not in the mood for your fairy tale romance right now.” “Speaking of fairytales,” Tessie’s tone shifted. “Are you ready for today? You better not be late, B. It’s your first day at Silver Stork. I climb up to my room and shut the door I look around my room which is quite simple with just a white wall paint and a blue bed spread and a single table and chair by the side with a laptop on it,no toys or accessories, not necessarily how rooms of girls my age should be tho... I throw my bag on the bed and on my laptop into the hackers forum ,it's the only way I can't break down.. I learnt hacking when I was at one of my foster homes as they had high expectations for me... He is right, right now we don't have time. "Right, three more small rooms to see Kitty" He opens a door. "Bathroom" I nod, he walks and opens another door. "Small kitchen so you can make drinks and whatnot without running in and out of the house and lastly." He walks to the next door opening it. "Luna's room. So, if there is ever a time I am at work, this is a playroom, with crib and everything". I look at the small room; it is perfect.

Emily says, she can't always be afraid of slipping to her little space and never back. "Me, me!" Molly says wanting to give her opinion too. "Yes, Kitten, tell me," David says giving her his full attention he'll never push her aside for being too little. "Me want to be a big girl!" Molly says she needs her big space, desperately.

Quaint was the realtor’s code for dilapidated, drafty, and impossibly small. The house was little more than a box with windows, and for my younger brother, Leo, and me, it meant a total loss of privacy. We were assigned the smallest room, a cramped square of space that barely accommodated the bunk beds we had salvaged from our old life. I took the bottom bunk; Leo, at ten years old, was thrilled to have the top.

"Marvellous! You didn't have to do this." He scratched below his ear, not knowing what to do with his hands. So I grabbed it and pulled him in. "You made all this food?" "Your mum helped," he said hastily, not wanting to take credit of everything. But it was everything. The room was immaculate with a neat bed pushed to one corner and a coffee table with two chairs in the centre. The windows were left open with gossamer white curtains fluttering about. There were mini bulbs string lightning taped to the cream coloured porous walls on all four sides. They were dimly lit, a mild effect to the already bright room. The location was better than any expensive seaside café.

Trudging into the tiny open kitchen I pull open the cupboard to pick up some glass cups so I can fill them with water for the paintbrushes. We will be painting the small room today, a playroom for Kal where we can keep all his toys and perhaps even put up another crib. A personal space just for him. Deimos and I had sat together for a few days discussing this, of all the changes we could bring to this place. This would be a place of peace for Kal just as it was for Deimos.
