A slight, mocking smirk played on his lips as he stopped in front of them. “Congratulations, cousin,” Zack said smoothly, his voice dripping with false warmth. “What a beautiful wedding. " Her large blue eyes ran over me as she chirped and I felt violated. I held Ashr's arm tightly. "I'm called Zax and I am Ashr's mate," I stated boldly and both Jordein and Briya chuckled. I sighed again but relaxed my stance. “Same time tomorrow?” I asked, grabbing my water bottle from the side. “You don’t want a day off?” he asked, and I shook my head “Okay, sure same time tomorrow,” He started off towards the door and then turned. “Chase on his way?” he asked and looked around. I could see even now the asessing look in his eyes, watching for hidden danger. Zack really was a good Gamma and a good warrior. “I can wait,” he offered. I shook my head again.

Zeus looked around and could not find any of Zack’s armed forces, he was rest assured that nothing happened to Hazel the moment he saw her squeeze her face lightly.
