Zane As I sat with my personal cabinet, discussing the intricate details of our latest ventures, the atmosphere in the room was a mix of intensity and confidence. We had been working tirelessly to expand our influence, and the success of our operations depended heavily on precision and secrecy. My advisors, each an expert in their field, were laying out the plans with meticulous care. Just as my chief strategist, Lila, was about to present her latest analysis on our territorial gains, the door swung open with a force that silenced the room.

Zane opened his eyes. 'Fuck, fuck, it was a dream.' He mumbled. Zane's body was wet with sweat, his forehead was cold. AND his hands were shaking. He looks around to find himself lying in his bed in his two rooms apartment. He sits on his bed to find anyone around, but he is alone. Zane took a deep breath then took the glass of water gulping it down in one go, he wiped the sweat from his forehead.

This was a cruel move by the Moon Goddess and the universe, a cruel one to torture me and make me go even more insane than I already was because I was close to loosing every bit of sanity I had left. I yelp when I felt water suddenly hit me on the face and end up wetting most of my body and I quickly lifted my head to see Zane, looking down at me with a wide grin on his face. I couldn't wait to rip that grin away from his face and leave him in a pool of his own blood. “Hey. Are you calm now, are you back to your senses?"

Louder than ever. ⸻ Later, when the sun is already setting and the mountain’s belly glows orange, I go to the inner courtyard to fetch water. The air is cool but fresh. Outsiders aren’t allowed here, so I’m alone. Or so I think. When the bucket fills, a shadow moves by the well. Reflex— I spring back, hands to my chest as if that could protect anything. “Easy.” Zane stands there in a black coat, his hair wet as if he’s just washed. His body strains the fabric, the air around him thicker than anywhere else.

Outside the door, Zane's voice had grown hoarse and cracked with sobs. "I know you're in there, Sadie! Open the door! Please, just open the door! "This is all a misunderstanding! I'm so sorry that I messed up!" Renee rushed forward to yank the door open, but I stopped her. Then I took a deep breath—not to steady my nerves, but to make sure my voice came out cold and steady. When I opened the door, Zane stood there looking pathetic in the night air. His hair was a mess, his eyes were bloodshot, and there was a clear handprint on his cheek.

“E ‘di don't! I'm not the one who will be stink. Stay away from Shenay and me, you crazy! I don't like the smell of you! ” His eyes widened as it sniffed himself. Crazy! "I am not stinky!" He don’t seem to believe it yet. Well, he doesn't really stink, his scent that she can still smell even from afar. She didn't know if her friends couldn't smell it. "If you say so ..." Phoebe lay down next to Shenay. She was playing with a doll she bought for her. “Mr. Sawyer Zane.” "Tsk!" She heard the door open and close. A few seconds ago it reopened and closed again.

I calmly cooed, taking a step toward her. She looked indecisive, narrowing her eyes in on me, and furrowing her brows in the process, "Who are you?" She murmured, "What are you?" Her voice was clearer as she asked those questions and I couldn't help but stare at her wide-eyed. It was such an odd question that I didn't expect from her. "What do you mean?" I asked, feigning unsureness, "My name is Zion Collins and although I said that I'm from Pluto, Angel face, I lied. I'm actually human."

Can someone please remind me how I met Nova? She literally is the most random human I've ever met. "Is she giving you a migraine?" I turned when I heard Zane's voice. He was standing in front of the bathroom; I didn't hear him come out. Water dripped down his body. Like always, his upper body was naked, leaving my eyes to feed on his mouthwatering abs. "...It's even hotter when the romance is forbidden..." I gulped.

Stephanie: “Have a seat.” Zane walked round the couches and went straight to the shelves behind his desk. “Coffee or tea?” he asked as I settled on a couch. “Water.” He grabbed a bottle of water from the refrigerator and walked back to where I was. He poured water into the glass before handing it to me. “Thank you.” Zane dropped the bottle on the desk before settling on the couch facing me. Unable to bear his burning eyes, I tried to look around his office, but there were so many details around, and it made me overwhelmed.

Zane moved through the system the way he moved through a defensive line, reading the gaps before they opened, committing to the decision a half second before anyone else saw it. Fifteen seconds. "There," Zane said. His fingers hit three commands in fast sequence. The countdown stopped at two seconds. The number sat on the screen, frozen, while Zane exhaled through his nose and rolled his neck once. Then the first deep explosion hit from below. Not the terminal. The rig itself. A concussive boom from somewhere beneath the waterline that rolled through the metal floor and into the soles of my feet like a physical warning. "It already started," Sloane said.
