All the water that was supplied that day is infected, the first place that the water was delivered to was Tacoma the first Zone of Zombies. When the truck that supplies water enter the zone everybody bought the water.

Roman stepped closer to the desk, his voice rising. “How could you? How could you do that to him?” Zane said nothing. “You poured him hot water, Zane. Hot water!” Roman shouted, his voice thick with disbelief. Zane flicked the ashes from the cigarette into a small glass tray on the desk and dropped it, letting it burn out on its own. Then he clasped his hands together, fingers interlocked, elbows resting on the desk. His expression was unreadable.

Zane was at the far end of the property, on the stage with Jake, surveying the bustling activities as pack members readied for the Luna ceremony, excitement in the air. When a wave of dizziness hit him with full force, stumbling him, reaching out to Jake, he mumbled, "Jasmine..." Before he collapsed onto his knees. Jake lowered himself down to Zane's level, shaking him aggressively, "Snap out of it..." He growled, knowing that his Luna needed her mate to be strong.
