Sadie and I have been in Baker now for two months. Going by the names Katie and Nick. Sadie turns eighteen in three days. It’s hard to believe that she is seven months pregnant, but her stomach grows every day. I got a job right away and Sadie wanted to do something besides stay at home all day. I found a way for us to have all the legal documents we would need to become Nick and Katie. Sadie went and decided that she wanted to go and take some classes during the day. Sadie wants to become a counselor to help people. She never really had someone to help her and she wanted people to know she could help.

I ask her giggling. “Why not? It was your sister's idea.” She offers me a glass of wine. “Which one? Sophie seems to be the boyish girl but she’s just as girlie as Charlotte.” I giggle accepting the glass of wine. “Actually, both of them had this idea.” Penny laughed. “You and them remind me of my older sister and me.” “You have a sister?
