She gave Zeda an amused but concerned look. “Yeah, I guess.” The truth was, she hadn’t. “How’s your hand now, Drav?” Draven flexed his arm muscle. “Good as new.” Just then, the werewolf girl came back with a thick, brown book with the title written in gold. “This is the book you’re looking for,” she said, handing Zeda the book. Her hands were still shaking. “Yeah, thanks,” Zeda smiled. The girl hurried away. “You’re reading about werewolves?” Rose looked surprised.

Baby Zetty suddenly came to a realization and exclaimed, “Oh! I almost made a mistake.” Baby Zetty had a straightforward personality, so she was easily deceived. Fortunately for her, Gale had a meticulous mind and could continuously remind Baby Zetty at any time to never stop being vigilant. “But we don’t know how to get to Sacred Land.” Gale asked, “Did Mister happen to leave you some sort of treasure? Perhaps there’s information on Sacred Land?” Baby Zetty quickly took out the pillow from her belly again and extracted three books from it. She said, “These are the books that Mister left behind for me.”

Zelda's POV The air in the Blackwood estate didn’t smell like the heavy, suffocating cologne and expensive cigars of Claus’s penthouse. Here, it smelled of cedar, old books, and the sharp, ozone crispness of a coming storm. I stood in the center of the foyer, my fingers white-knuckled around the strap of my single duffel bag. I had left everything else behind—the jewelry Claus bought me, the dresses that were too tight, the life that was a lie.

That night, Zach guarded Zelle right next to her room, and in his dream for that night was the memory he will never forget. It was a year after Zelle had just lost her memories. Zach and Aaron just moved into the mansion to play with her. Zach saw the quiet little girl reading a black book under the huge tree. "Zelle, what are you reading?" Zelle did not respond and continued to read the ‘fairytale’ book while ignoring him. Zach sat next to her and tilted his shoulder over to hers to take a look at what she was reading about. That surprised him instead!

They’d even taken the precaution of arranging for a wet nurse in case she didn’t survive the process. At first, Kendra didn’t understand why they were so eager for the zombie cure, since they clearly lived in a world apart from the one she’d grown up in. Then, one day an alarm was raised to announce the fact that a zombie had wandered into the village. This was her first clue that, although there was a cloak to hide the visibility of the entrance/exit of the village, it didn’t seal it. Zombies – or humans – could find themselves inside the village without knowing how they got there.

"Where did you get it? I mean ... did you buy it, or borrow it here? Because as far as I remember, there are no novels like that in this library." Zaya smiled quietly behind her veil and began to feel interested in starting a longer conversation with Arash. "I bought it in Indonesia. When I visited that country." Replied Zaya. "Oh ... I thought you could find it here too,’ replied Arash, looking disappointed. ‘Do you like reading this novel? Or are you just curious and want to read it?" Zaya asked again. Arash, who was unaware that Zaya was becoming interested in communicating with him because he understood that the novel was quite rare, answered Zaya's question casually.

Zacchary only clenches his fist tighter and now Zelda was floating higher in the sky, her legs kicking out, her hands clawing. I should have realised that it was going too easy for us. One second Zelda was suffocating to death and the next second Zacchary was being mauled to death by a rogue who had jumped out from the shadows of the cave. There was blood and screams and chaos ensued as more rogue wolves emerged, leaping towards us, while Zelda free fell to the ground, spluttering and gasping for breath, her cheeks regaining their normal colour. Upon recalling the content of the message she had written before she left, Zelda broke into a sweat immediately. If Zelda ever knew she would meet Quist again, she would never have fanned the flame.
