Majori’s POV: I… am not dead? With great effort, I lifted my eyelids, feeling exhaustion deep to the bone. The first thing I saw was a high ceiling covered in old European motifs. The gilded patterns had faded with time, forming roses and winding grapevines that intertwined like a frozen garden suspended in the air. At the center hung a massive crystal chandelier, its glass droplets scattering faint light across the ceiling cold, yet exquisitely beautiful. This… was the room Vincent had given me when I first came to the Silverfang Pack.

I closed my door and then walked to the save just behind my wardrobe . I opened it and brought out the Journal , Zelda’s Journal. Alexandra destroyed most of the letters Zelda wrote to Hernando , and the ones Hernando sent to Zelda , she seized and made sure Zelda never got the Chance to read it. I wiped the journal clean of the dust and opened through the pages. Zelda always wrote down all the evil Ezekiel did to her , even when she was locked up in the Dungeon. I really felt pity for her but there was nothing I could do, I barely had a say.

Zelda’s POV The world was a blur of speed and pain. I couldn’t tell how long I’d been dragged before an iron door groaned open and I was thrown to the ground like a sack of nothing. My hand shot to my belly on instinct, and I gasped, trying to force air back into my lungs. I pushed myself up on shaking legs. “Hey! Let me out of here!” My fists hit the door, again and again, but nothing answered except silence.

, I swiped down on the answer button and placed it on my ear. “Novan!” She called, her voice frantic over the phone. Only her and Micheal had the audacity to address me by my first name. I sat up straight immediately I heard the urgency of her voice, “Zelda has been kidnapped, and Brenda is heading back to pinefalls,” She blurted out, I became alert immediately and I felt my wolf jump in agitation and this time it took extra effort to suppress his voice in my head. “It’s not looking good!” She added.

I did my best to take care not to scratch the leather, but when it fell into my arms, I noticed what looked like a fresh dig. Books were not as common in that era as they were in the future so I felt bad about causing damage to it. My lamenting lasted only briefly.
