He had become a mortal and was on oath to help the people of the broad plains till he dies of old age as a mortal and re-enters Mundu. After the embers had changed to dust, the worshippers of the Divine One had robed him. “May abundance flow in these days,” said Ditiori. that the money lent by the orphanage was just enough to last for a month. Good thing that my orphanage had an educational program which helped me finish high school and this aided me to get a job easily at the inventory department of Lyla’s Café. I must admit that everything went smoothly, maybe I was truly lucky. However, I still wanted to have that space wherein I don't have to think about anything, but even though I do, I don't want to become an empty space which is who I am at the moment. My thoughts went to a halt when I heard a loud bang from a harshly closed door and when I traced as to where it came from I saw a young lady wearing a light, white cocktail dress with hair so soft as t

Zephyr felt as though there was some prideful, higher power that stood before him. Its presence made him uneasy. Finally, Zephyr put his all into focusing upon it, observing the force closely. He realized he could only look at a portion of it. It was a god ray. This ray of divine light looked very common, yet had the power to decimate any being. Even just being near it was enough to cripple someone.

Just as the light leaves the bright sky and the darkness occupies till it is time for it to leave, that was what Zephyr brought upon the mermaids, mermen and as well the sirens. He visited Sirenum scopuli, a small island where the Siren goddess resided. Persephone is the ruler of the big blue, the Queen and mother too. Zephyr lived on the surface of the island, unlike his siblings who hid and carried out their mischievous plans he came out in the open as the Demon of Death. With his sword at hand he tore down their world, limb by limb and slowly brought them to their knees into only a few days time.

“How do you determine the ones I should invite to the coven? Can you see the future?” Arah swallowed. It was the same question burning in her own mind. Could Zephyr be an oracle as well as a spellcaster? If only she could access more of her memories—perhaps then she could piece together what kind of sylph he truly was. Yet even with her limited knowledge, one thing was clear: he was dangerous. A being powerful enough to defy the Shining Keeper’s orders and disrupt the balance among mortals. “If I do,” Zephyr said smoothly, “would you still question my words?”

**Chapter 4: The Alpha's Possession** Zephyr stared at him, unable to form words. His dark aura almost consumed her, and she was scared—scared for her own life. She hadn’t known it was his cub. The little thing was hurt, and she had just wanted to help. Zephyr looked at the helpless cub in her arms. She shouldn’t be in the same space as the Alpha. She wanted to step back, but the wall hindered her, and then his face loomed over hers.

Zoya looked at her father with adoration in her eyes. "You really loved Ammi right?" She asked softly, eyeing their wedding album. "More than I think anyone ever could" Yasir whispered with a far away look in his eyes. His eyes moistened as Zoya cuddled near him. He hugged her close to his chest caressing her hair while he told her about her they met and how Yasir felt as if he couldn't think of anything else other than Maheen. Zoya listened attentively. She had heard this story multiple times but every time it makes her belief on soulmates stronger. After a while he told her about Qadir, who was a private investigator.
