"How have the two of you managed to survive out here on your own? The zombie population has been steadily rising over the last couple of weeks, and it's getting more and more dangerous." Janelle frowns, and I can see her eyes go a little blank. "It's only been the two of us for a couple of days. A week ago there were ten of us. We got ambushed in the night when one of our group members fell asleep while on watch duty. Of the ten of us, Todd and I were the only survivors."
