Zeus Family Tree Novels & Stories

* * * ZEUS The lights in the arena are almost blinding me. My heart is pounding so fast that I feel like it's going to give out at any moment. There are so many people around us. Too many, in my opinion. And they're all looking at Atlas and me as we position ourselves on opposite sides of the stadium. King Maximo and Queen Selena are just beside us. I can feel their eyes on us, and it's making my skin burn. King Maximo, my father, is mated with Queen Selena, and together they had a child. That child is my brother, Atlas. But three years into their marriage, my father had relations with one of his servants, my mom Amanda. Then they had me.

I fired at him back. "Wow, it seems our play toy is now strong enough to talk back to its owner," mum said, coming into the room. "Didn't I told you that she has grown wings now?, She had the effrontery to talk back at me simply because the Patriarch family wants you as the next luna of their pack which I'll make sure it's doesn't come to pass not while I'm still on the surface of earth" he said to me holding my chin more tightly, eyes full with rage and hatred his veins are almost popping out of his neck as he speaks with total anger.

It's rare to have the power of 2 gods like Atia, let alone three. I myself am the son of a father who was a descendant of Zeus and a mother who was the descendant of Hera, but I only have the power of Zeus. My sister Giuna has both the power of Zeus and Hera, but my sister Riara only has the power of Zeus as well. Genetics are weird like that. Either way, it is pretty much unheard of to have a child with the power of 3 different gods, yet we are going to have 2. Soon enough, shock gives way to excitement as I think about my future son and two daughters the the children of gods, who give birth much faster than humans, and Atia is the daughter of Hades, so in three months I'm going to be a fat

"They fed us, sheltered us, taught us, even though we were strangers. They didn't ask for anything in return – they just shared what they had because it was the right thing to do. On Olympus, we have everything we could ever want, but do we have what they have? Do we have the courage to trust strangers, the wisdom to find joy in simple things, the strength to build something lasting with our own hands?" Zeus remained silent for a long time after Hermes finished speaking, his eyes moving from the images still floating in the air to the faces of his family and subjects. The anger had faded from his expression, replaced by something that looked like wonder – and perhaps something else, somethin

Still, they kept watching each other. Zeus was lord of the sky once again, but his wife also bore him three other gods: Ares, the god of war, Hephaestus, the smith-god, forger of weapons, and Eris, goddess of chaos and discord, who shrieks beside Ares in his battle chariot. The rest of Zeus's children were born out of wedlock. Three of them entered the Pantheon later.

“ There wasn’t much information on him in the library, but there was some. He has another son older than either of us Kronos, by the name of Darius. It’s unknown who his mother is but she was a Pure-Blood, so I guess that’d make him my, I mean our half brother. Supposedly he went back west with Caelus. Allegedly Caelus was indeed powerful, so strong he supposedly scared High King Zeus with his mere presence alone. From what I’ve heard, he’s one of the few dragons in the west who still has sentience. Supposedly he’s a direct descendant of Zurvon. That’s all the information I know about him.” Kronos’s mind was reeling; he had a twin brother, he was the son of a dragon stronger than the high kin

I nodded my head in agreement and my mother sighed deeply. “Zeus has been out of control for a while. Not that we ever had control, but he has lost touch with what a leader should be. He has become cruel, violent and controlling over the rest of us. Especially to our family, he placed your father to sleep for all of eternity. He locked up Astraeus along with others for years. And at the moment, he is ruining marriages right and center by sleeping with women. ” “That’s absolutely horrible. He’s worse than I could've imagined...but Atreus isn’t family of me”

Heracles interjected. Reus was one of the few born of Zeus’ lineage that Heracles could call brother. This was not merely because Reus was not bigoted like Ares was, but because Reus had rejected the heritage of Olympus even though he was strong enough to have it thrown at his feet, just like he Heracles had done.

I explained as I flipped through the pages to see if there was something I was missing. “If he ate his children, how is he my ancestor?” Caleb asked. “According to the book, he did throw up the children. Also, Zeus was one of his children, so not all were eaten when they were born. There are still some details I haven’t found yet, but this book does say a lot. It even references another book. I looked through every book I have but have not found it.” I told him. “Wait, aren’t you related to Zeus?” The sound of Caleb’s voice as he asked, caused me to pull my attention from the book and look at him.
