She turned round and round in amazement. Some gunned rushed to the hallway down from where she was.

She doubted a zombie would be able to locate her there, even an advanced zombie. One of the things about zombies that stayed with them, no matter how much of their thinking and motor skills returned was the fact that they had poor night vision, depth perception, and were color blind. Those factors went in her favor since the opening to the root cellar was beneath a very realistic looking shrub that was attached to the trap door. Its coloring varied from those it was amongst only by the slightest degree and, unless you ran your hand over it, you’d never guess it wasn’t real. Combine that to the fact that it was nighttime, and she felt safe in her selection of hiding places.

On the first day of the new decade, a big zombie wave attacked the base, but the ability users were able to defeat the wave but it was enough time for the original soul to escape and slaughter all the scientists and attack the base, that is when his useless and absentee guardian showed up and prominent killed him based on the words of the freaking female lead before she became the female lead. Then to make his life, even sadder the female lead reincarnated became friends with him so that she could meet his useless guardian and hold his thigh during the apocalypse. Of course, then the guardian who was the second male lead showed up mysteriously and found his charge (that he didn't even raise)
