What happened? "Fread was an orphan when Zion accepted him; he told me that he's not the only one. Zion has been adopting and saving children from the slums to breed hollow assassins again. Not just that, there are almost half a thousand of them. Fread served that company for 16 hellish years taking orders to kill certain people. Until Fread and his companions decided to leave, sadly for him, as we all know he was left standing." I don't know why but, he has sympathy over what happened.

They’d even taken the precaution of arranging for a wet nurse in case she didn’t survive the process. At first, Kendra didn’t understand why they were so eager for the zombie cure, since they clearly lived in a world apart from the one she’d grown up in. Then, one day an alarm was raised to announce the fact that a zombie had wandered into the village. This was her first clue that, although there was a cloak to hide the visibility of the entrance/exit of the village, it didn’t seal it. Zombies – or humans – could find themselves inside the village without knowing how they got there.

Brie sat with wide eyes. No way. No way was this real. On the computer screen, flashed four big words. "THE WORLD IS ENDING." She scrolled through twitter, seeing tweets on how to stay alive. Apparently, it was a virus only caught if the body fluids of a carrier entered your body. Brie glanced at Adam, thinking about his wound. What about Melissa? "Okay... Focus." She patted the desk and continued to read. Hopefully, there'd be something helpful, something to keep them alive. She spotted a specific article a stranger had made a few hours ago.

My head swarms with a dozen different things. I know I wanted answers, and I knew I probably wouldn't like them. I didn’t think the answers would have anything to with babies, turning me, or being introduced into the zombie world. I didn’t know zombies could have kids or that they would find a way to turn humans that didn’t have the mutation. It’s all too much to process.

The few days had passed at a slow paste. She wasn't sure how she felt about becoming the number one target of so many werewolves. From her guardians, she knew more or less how their underworld operated. Alliances, betrayals, hidden truths, forbidden lies, and so on happened as a daily occurrence. She also wondered what ensued to Milene's body, where was it, and if he had even bothered to bury her.

[Juliet's POV] The music at the celebration party continued. Surrounded by a crowd, Alison basked in the crowd's repetitive praises. Suddenly, a deafening boom came from the city walls. Overlapping growls and roars of zombies tore through the atmosphere. Terror erupted instantaneously. People in the crowd screamed, "It's a swarm of zombies! A massive swarm of zombies!" A guard ran over, staggering along the way. "The lightning barrier on the right of the base has been breached. There's a massive gap. Zombies are coming through soon!"

Catherine smiled slightly. “Only souls…can go to the u-underworld after they die, and I-I don’t have…one.” This time, she closed her eyes and it never opened again. Kaiden gasped from his hidden spot and turned sharply to run away but Edward raised his hand and pulled him directly to himself and he slit Kaiden’s throat with his claws. Looking into his elder brother’s shocked eyes, Edward said, “no more mercy this time,” and threw Kaiden’s body away before he gave up the ghost.
