Realizing his slip, he quickly clamped a hand over his mouth, but the damage was done. Suzy raised an eyebrow. “If I’m not mistaken, you just said you didn’t delete that part. So, does that mean Miss Wheeler here took so long because she was telling you to delete certain footage?” “No, I didn’t— I didn’t do anything!” Anne protested quickly, her voice tight. “You’re making things up.” “Oh, you didn’t?” Suzy replied coolly. “Well, no one else knows the truth…” She pointed at the technician. “Other than him.”

Striding to the bar, he poured himself a glass of an amber liquid and took a quick swig. "I hate upsetting them like that," he said as I stood next to him. "I know, they'll come around once they see why you're doing this." I paused, carefully waiting a few seconds before asking, "what did you find with the footage?" He sighed, "the rabbit was dead." "Oh," I said not sure what that meant. "Someone threw it into the premises." This time I gave a more shocked, "Oh!" "Which means we should be on the first flight out of here now." another tired sigh, "I can't believe I forgot it was Zoey's birthday week."

his voice dark and laced with contempt. "Zoey, I can't, and I will never accept, let go, or forgive the fact that you jeopardized not only your best friend's safety, but also the lives of everyone. Do you know the extent of your actions, huh? If Zico and Lynx were successful, that's the end for everyone in this pack. Imagine the number of lives you put in danger just because of your silly infatuation with Lynx," Elliott blurted out without restraint.

But it was only a matter of seconds when Zeev loudly cursed, and Zane felt their vehicle wiggle on the road until they crashed on the sideway. The screeching sound of the motorbike bounced on the trees from the forest, Zeev was startled by the squirrel crossing the road and tried avoiding it, making them crash. They both rolled over from the road down to the edge of the forest. However, Zeev only rolled and hit the gutter, while Zane unfortunately fell down, hitting some trees before reaching the flat ground. Zeev groaned the pain from his legs and immediately removed his helmet. “Stupid squirrel.” He was annoyed and almost struggled to stand, looking around for his friend.

Several wolves, about 5 or 6 were lying dead on the ground , some who were still standing were heavily injured. But that’s not what had steam coming out of my ears. A stupid rogue was pinning Zoe to the ground, she had been stripped naked and she looked weak. From the strong scent of her arousal in the air, I knew she was on heat. The man was about to shove his dick into her pussy, my heart flipped and I lost it.

As soon as he's gone, Cassidy closes the crack. I fall to my knees and begin to cry. We won. It's over, but we lost Lizette and Zion. This wouldn't have been possible without them. Mav kneels next to me and pulls me into his arms. The wolves shift and go look for the pups and elders while the rest of us sit on the ground. "I can't believe they're gone," Cassidy says from Cruz's lap. "I know. Lizette warned me that someone would die, but I never thought it would be her and Zion." I cry against Mav's chest. Everyone else is crying with us.

"I can't believe he actually thinks he's superior, even when he's living off her. That's next-level pathetic!" Seeing the tides turning against him, Jack pointed at me and shouted, "Recording me in secret is a violation of my privacy, Suzanna!" I slipped the voice recorder back into my bag and shrugged. "What would it be when the security guards pinned me down and tried to take my recorder earlier? Was it considered false imprisonment or attempted robbery?"

Except it wasn't a stupid test, this was determining my life. Eventually I reached the last question, What is your knowledge of the south? That made me pause. The south was desolate, an old history lesson from school long ago. They disobeyed our selector and became obsolete. Our Rozzers had crushed them. The greatest example of our powerful nation. I wrote out a quick summary, ready to get this over with. I stacked my papers back into place and walked towards the small metal slot. I could hear the camera move to follow me, there really had been someone there watching me.

“Do it or one of your children will be the first to die. Which one will it be, do you think? The little boy or the little Alpha princess?” Thick roots pushed through the dirt at our feet and wrapped around Zoe and I, trapping our arms at our sides. The creatures holding us stepped back then but I could still feel them breathing down our backs. “Very Good!” The leader let out a sickening laugh. “Now set the roots on fire!” “No fucking way!” Kat refused while Zoe whimpered pitifully.

Joseph looked at her and said, his voice dripping with sarcasm, "You saw it with your own eyes? I can't believe that you’d still refuse to tell us the truth at this moment." "You…You don't believe me?" "How can I believe you?" Joseph presented the chat records from their work group, placing them before her. "If you didn't want to take care of them, you could’ve told us honestly. Why pretend?" It took several hours for an animal to regain consciousness after being sedated, but it had only been two hours since Toto went missing. If Toto and Oreo were taken away by dog thieves, why would they let them go? Upon seeing the texts sent by Sophia, a chilling sensation ran through Chloe's body. "I di
