I asked him. “What do I still need to do for you to believe me, Alli, that I like you?!” He said in a frustrated voice. “I think you need to confess to me? You know it's hard to assume things.” I hissed. What kind of thinking is that? Of course, he needs to tell me for me to be sure. "Isn’t action speaks louder than words?" He said. Eve sat as she came over. "Same." Hart added. "We should get you something to eat." Eve suggested and Hart nodded. "I'll go to the kitchen and see if I can make her something." Hart said as he walked out. I scooted so Eve could lay behind me on the couch. I relaxed into her after she got settled. "Did you mean what you said in there? About trusting us?" Eve whispered. "I did. I know that you have my back. Especially you. You and I are ride or die." I said and Eve nodded and smiled.
