I was standing there in a shapeless house dress, the front still stained with dried breast milk. Fiona wrinkled her nose, pulled a perfume bottle from her bag, and spritzed herself. "What is that sour smell? God, it's awful."

"Do what you need to. Don't let them win. Please don't let them win." Quill stepped toward the tarp cautiously. He picked up a brush, dipping it into one of the cans. The first stroke was hesitant, the bristles dragging across the fabric in uneven lines. He paused before dipping the brush again, this time pressing harder. The next strokes came quicker. Quill switched brushes, grabbing another and covering the tarp in broad streaks as he allowed the anger to pour out.

I clicked on the message and it took me back to my page. ‘Kai gets grounded. Epic fail!’ I closed my eyes briefly. That was low, even for her. Her comment got a lot of laughing emojis and I switched my phone off. Thanks a lot, Mom. I had no idea why she was so upset. Mr. Jones got what he deserved.

*Katrina Pov * When I arrived at home and got out of the car I had enough time between now and the delivery time to relax. So after I showered and cleaned up all the sweat and dirt I had collected during training even after I changed I still feel dirty. The hot shower washed away all the sore spots on my body from training this morning. I stepped out of the shower and walked over to my bed and climbed and decided not to put on any clothes because I was too tired. Before I fell asleep I set an alarm an hour before delivery and with that I fell asleep.
