ログインNessa was betrayed by her mate, who had cheated on her with a woman he always told her not to worry about. Nessa found Leon and Abby together. She decided to reject their mate bond. But Abby wasn't satisfied; she wanted to make Nessa suffer even more. Therefore, together with Kylie, Leon's mother, they poisoned Nessa and made her lose her wolf spirit. This angered Nessa, who decided to leave the pack and end up in Capital City, where she met a strange alpha. Sometimes he was very kind, sometimes he wanted to kill her.
もっと見るAfter a long year of battle against the Golden Creek Pack, Leon finally returned with the other warriors, allowing Nessa to breathe in relief at the sight of her mate being well.
However, she noticed that there was something different about him. She didn’t understand what it was until one day…
There were sounds of voices coming from Leon’s room… There was no mistake about it.
Nessa’s heart was pounding painfully against her chest. Her intuition warned her not to go and check the source of these salacious sounds.
But her body didn’t listen.
She kept walking towards the bedroom, where the sound was getting louder and clearer. Their moans echoed softly against the wall, and through the small crack of the door, Nessa could see what they were doing.
Her heart shattered, and her world crumbled with the sight before her eyes. Leon was in a compromising position with Abby, the beta’s daughter, whom he said not to worry about since he thought of her as his ‘little sister.’
Well, that ‘little sister’ was riding his face right now.
They were engrossed in their act of betrayal, to the point that they didn’t realize someone else was watching their action. Their scent was very strong.
Nessa wanted to curse herself when she didn’t leave or confront them to save herself from the heartache; instead, she watched everything, unable to move.
Just like earlier, her body was not willing to cooperate. She felt her legs rooted in the same place.
How you could betray your mate was beyond her.
A mate for a shifter was for a lifetime; it was a blessing from the Moon Goddess, a sacred bond that you couldn’t take lightly.
The bond should have been strong enough to prevent such things from happening, but from the look of it, it didn’t stop Leon from being pleased by Abby.
“Nessa?”
It was Abby who noticed Nessa first. Her voice shattered the spell, throwing Nessa back to reality. She met Leon’s black eyes, and there was this mortified look in them.
Why would he be terrified when this was his wrongdoing?
“Nessa?” Leon immediately covered himself and pushed Abby away from him. He got off the bed and put on his boxers. “No, it is not what you think.”
Classic. Would he tell her they were only checking each other’s bodies and wish for Nessa to believe that?
However, before Leon could feed her with his bullshit, Nessa turned around and shifted into her beast and rushed away from the scene.
She ignored Leon’s plea for her to stop and Abby’s voice that asked him to stay and give Nessa some time to discern the whole situation.
The audacity of that woman was appalling.
Tonight, a festivity took place for the alpha’s victorious return after a long battle. Nessa left the party to look for Leon since he should be the star of tonight’s event.
The music was blasting that night, people were dancing; however, Nessa had just found something that turned her world upside down.
She rushed through the sound of people laughing and teasing, and their cheerful mood carried the image of the cruel thing her mate had done to her.
She ran away as fast as she could from Leon’s attempt to mind-link her; she shut her mind and kept going until it was quiet.
By the time Nessa stopped running and shifted back into her human form, she had already been deep into the forest, so close to crossing the border of her pack territory.
There was no going back from what she had witnessed.
“Why? Why?” Nessa stared at the darkness around her, but instead of fear, she felt this pain in her heart. It shattered through her body, and she wailed to the void, asking the question that she didn’t want to know the answer to. “Why did you do this to me!?”
Leon was the alpha of the Black Moon Pack; he just took the title from his father two days ago when he returned from the battlefield, while Abby was the former alpha’s beta’s daughter.
They had known each other since they were little; people thought they were mates when they came of age.
Yet, Nessa crushed their dream when she appeared as the alpha’s destined mate only a month before he left for the battlefield.
Many people disagreed with her as the future luna of the pack because she was only an omega, but Leon stood by her side. He defended her… until now.
How long had their affair been going on?
Nessa didn’t know. She didn’t want to think, and when her body was exhausted and she had no more tears to shed, her eyes closed.
She fell asleep on the dirty ground of this quiet forest while the merriment was still going on in the distance.

Leon had asked a few of his warriors to look for Nessa, but they couldn’t find her.
He still kept this under wraps because he didn’t want to alert other people. It wouldn’t look good if they figured out that the future luna of the pack had gone missing, especially when they started to dig around about the reason behind it.
“Calm down, Leon. She will return.” Abby tried to appease Leon’s anxiety. She stretched her hand to massage his shoulders, but he swatted her hands away.
“You’d better leave, Abby. Nessa will not be pleased to see you here.” Leon was very restless. He couldn’t sleep a wink, as he didn’t know what happened to his mate out there.
He had messed up big time. He needed to fix this.
“No, I am at fault here too.” Abby shook her head stubbornly when Leon chased her out again. “I also want to apologize to her.”
“This is not a good idea for you to talk to her.”
Abby disagreed with him. “Only a woman can understand a woman; I will tell her that everything was a mistake, and it was not as she saw it.”
“How could you hire a shifter?” Keagan closed his eyes; but from the sound of his voice, it was obvious that his mind was still sharp. The headache slowly subsided.“I didn’t know she was a shifter until she was here. I only realized it when I saw her,” Jack said, but he added. “But there is something wrong with her. I know she is a shifter, yet I can’t feel her wolf spirit. It’s so faint. Even an omega won’t have such a faint presence of wolf spirit.”Keagan didn’t say anything for long, and when Jack thought he had fallen asleep and was about to leave, he heard the Alpha talk to him with his clear voice.“Don’t let her step inside this house again.”“Yes, Alpha.”***After Nessa returned from the Howling Wolf pack house, she was worried that she would get a bad review and be kicked out of her job because she didn’t finish her work that day. However, nothing happened; there was no complaint or anything whatsoever.Nessa almost forgot about the incident when, two weeks later, she got
There was not much furniture here. This place was almost barren; the things that stood out were the large bed and the wardrobe.Nessa looked around before she started to clean up; the view from the balcony was beautiful. But before ten minutes passed, someone entered the room. This person actually slammed the door so hard it startled Nessa, and the feeling returned: the feeling of being hunted down, as if there was a strong predator in the same room and she was the prey.Nessa felt very intimidated, and out of instinct, she turned around to find a man standing there. He was topless, only wearing his pants, which showed his perfect body, as if he was built of muscles. His short, black hair was slightly damp as water trickled down to his chest. He was very tall and big, obviously an alpha.Alpha Keagan. An omega like Nessa would have shown their obedient side and immediately lowered their head, but Nessa had once mated with an alpha, and she had lost her wolf; thus, she didn’t feel the
This house was so big that, at the very least, she would need a month to clean the entire place! There was no way she could finish it in a day!Right now, Nessa was standing in front of the tallest and biggest gate she had ever seen in her entire life, and she felt very intimidated.“Where is the bell?” She looked around, and it took her ten minutes to find it.“Who is there?” A man’s voice asked from the intercom. Nessa introduced herself, and the gate was opened for her. “You need to walk for fifteen minutes to reach the main house; I will see you there.“Fifteen minutes?” Nessa mumbled to herself. She would reach the main house in less than fifteen minutes if she ran in her wolf form. Unfortunately, she didn’t have her anymore.Nessa was still grieving for the loss of her wolf spirit. But one thing she learned was that in a big city like this, there would be many CCTVs to catch the shifters when they shifted into their beasts, and it had been engraved in every shifter’s mind to con
Leon shifted into his beast and started searching for Nessa in the places that she often visited, but he still couldn’t find her.[Look for my mate!]Leon mind-linked all the warriors in the pack. This pack was not big; the truth was, the Black Moon Pack was the smallest pack among all the seven packs, but people lived here peacefully, and they were so close to nature.[Do you mean… Abby, Alpha?]One of the warriors questioned the alpha because of his announcement not so long ago about Abby’s new status. They assumed the person that he mentioned as his mate was Abby.[No! You damn fool! Nessa! I want to know where she is right away!]Leon was upset, but he couldn’t blame his warriors, since he was the one who had brought this upon himself. If there were someone to blame, it would be him alone!Nessa, where are you?!Leon cursed himself; he couldn’t mind-link Nessa since her wolf had died. He was racked by this strong guilty feeling. An hour later, one of the warriors found a clue: a s
