Chapter 2: The Most Suitable Person

When Basil woke up, the sun was already high in the sky, his thick brows furrowed and his phoenix eyes slowly opened. There was no one around when he put his hand to the side. He slowly sat up and looked towards the bathroom smiling. He understood women better than anyone, especially those who knew him. After waking up with him in the same bed, they would take an amount worth the price of his. Them, and the woman who made him so happy yesterday, was the first time. After waiting for twenty minutes, still no one came out. He pulled the blanket up, got up, wrapped the towel around his waist, then walked towards the bathroom but saw no one.

The eyebrows furrowed unhappily, why didn’t the woman last night see? She must be here waiting for you, maybe she ran away, but wouldn’t it be a loss for her to do so?

Walking over to the bed, he accidentally stepped on something, bent down to pick it up when he could clearly see his thin lips twitching slightly. This woman not only has a beautiful body but also a very pretty face, especially the way she left and left her student card made him admire her even more, is this a new trick of the girls? Leave your stuff where you’ll then find a reason to meet?

“What about Helen? Nice name.” Basil muttered.

Sitting back on the bed, at this time, someone’s door opened. Jesse entered with a cheerful smile. “Did you come here yesterday? I’ve been waiting for you forever, what a clueless guy.”

Basil glanced at him and said: “Yesterday you were the one who let this girl into my room? But don’t tell me sooner.”

“Which girl? I don’t let.”

Basil looked at Jesse in disbelief, then handed the student card in his hand to him. “It’s this girl, I came back here last night and saw her in the room. I thought it was you.”

“No, I got drunk yesterday and then slept in that room. I don’t leave any girl in your room.” Jesse explained.

Basil gazed out the window, if Jesse wouldn’t let that girl stay in his room, why? Apparently she was drunk, and he didn’t know what he did last night.

“What happen? Did someone appear in your room yesterday? Is it this girl?” Jesse was about to take the student card from Basil’s hand, but he didn’t. The warning eyes said: “You go to your room.”

“Okay, is that so that you are also angry with me? It’s okay if I go.” After saying that, Jesse turned around and left.

Basil looked at Jesse’s back thoughtfully, why did this girl appear in his room after all?

At this time at school, Helen was tired and lying on the table, Jena saw her and asked her: “How are you? Didn’t come home yesterday morning and didn’t have any strength? Hey, what are those red spots on your neck? Why is it so much?”

Hearing Jena like that, Helen quickly covered it up, wasn’t it the man from yesterday? He really is a bloodsucker, on her body are all his kiss marks. She didn’t want to worry Jena, so she said: “It’s nothing, just mosquito bites. You go back to the table, the teacher is coming.”

Jena wanted to clarify, but seeing the teacher coming, she couldn’t ask anything. Helen looked outside constantly thinking, she didn’t remember a bit of yesterday’s memory, clutching her head and blaming herself. From now on she won’t drink anymore, won’t let this happen again.

At the end of class, Jena ran up to her and picked up the phone and said: “Helen, I will be interviewing actress Ciara soon. Love it.”

“Who is Ciara?” Helen asked.

“Ciara is the most famous model in T city. That’s right, you don’t specialize in entertainment, so how do you know. She’s a talented person, and she has a super rich and handsome owner.” Jena said with a smiling face.

“So what? It has nothing to do with me.” Helen said.

“That’s right, you already have a lover, don’t care about other men.”

Helen clenched her fist under the table, that man she had loved for four years in college, yet he dared to betray her, just thinking about her made her uncomfortable. When Helen didn’t answer, Jena pointed the phone at her and said: “This is Ciara’s golden man, handsome, isn’t it?”

Helen didn’t care at first, but because the other person’s face was so familiar, she was a little impressed. This is the man who slept with her last night, is he the owner of a famous actress?

At the same time in the biggest mansion in T city, the atmosphere inside was not very good. His old lady sat in the middle, next to him and his wife Baron and Avery, below was their son Otis. At this time, the old lady’s voice sounded: “Basil hasn’t come back yet? If you don’t come back in ten minutes, you don’t have to wait.”

The old lady’s voice just ended outside, a voice said: “You really don’t need me?”

“I need but you don’t need me, just being on the street all day. Come back, sit down, I have something to say.”

Basil sat down next to the old lady with a smile, the other three he did not care and did not say hello. Holding the old lady’s hand said: “You talk, I listen.”

“I want you to get married next week, if I can’t make the inheritance I will leave it to Otis. I’ll only say it once, any girl is fine but it can’t be Ciara, don’t disobey me, I’m tired today, I’ll go to my room first.” When the old lady finished speaking, she stood up without giving Basil a chance to speak. After the old lady left, he also got up to leave.

Everyone dispersed Avery and Otis pulled together to their rooms, Avery put Otis in the chair and said: “You have to stop this time by any means, I don’t want an excellent opportunity to slip away.”

“Basil is not an idiot, you have to understand that he is the son of the first wife, even if he does not inherit the estate, he will enjoy the glory from now on for the rest of his life. What if I sit in that chair, I’m nothing more than a scarecrow, do you really want that?” said Otis, pushing his mother’s hand away.

“Even so I want you to inherit the estate, you have to make it impossible for Basil to find the girl he wants.” Avery said.

“How?” Otis asked.

“Don’t you have a lot of friends? Just try to contact them, I will take care of the rest.” Avery took Otis’s hand and said.

Otis looked at her, wanting to speak but stopped. Only blame him for being born as the second wife’s child, if it was the first wife’s child, it certainly wouldn’t be like this. “Okay, I get it. I’m leaving.” Avery nodded then watched Otis’ back leave, she wouldn’t let the inheritance fall into Basil’s hands, never.
