Chapter:142: A Threat:

     There was dead silence in the conference room.

     Maddie could barely stand, holding the corner of the table and trembling.

     She was overwhelmed with shame and rage, wishing to have Chloe murdered.

     She couldn’t believe that Chloe had filmed these unpleasant scenes and also showed them to Zayn. Chloe used such a trick to threaten her, ruining her only chance to be together with Zayn.

     “So, do you read or not?”

     After a long moment, Maddie  gritted her teeth, “I’ll read it.”

     Before leaving the conference room, Chloe unplugged the USB flash drive and brushed it off, “Besides, please let the Twilight Media and also your internet water armies delete all those nonsensical remarks from the internet. Otherwise, you bear your consequences.”
