Amelia’s POV

"God, Liz," I groaned. "I can’t believe I actually did it…"

Liz squinted at me through the video screen. "Did what?"

I buried my face in my hands and mumbled, "I slept with Rowan. Rowan fucking Lancaster."

Her face lit up like fireworks. "Finally! Are you kidding me right now?! Tell me everything. Was it the best sex of your life?"

I flopped sideways on the couch, still in last night’s sapphire dress. My hair was a tousled mess and I had mascara smudged beneath my eyes.

"God… it was incredible," I admitted breathlessly. "Like, transcendent. But also a huge mistake. Liz, he’s my boss and my EX’s uncle. What the hell was I thinking?"

Liz rolled her eyes dramatically. "Oh please. So many people sleep with their bosses. Hooking up with an ex’s uncle is a big deal. But it’s just a one-night thing, not to mention no one knows your relationship. You, my dear, have just joined the elite club of women living their corporate fantasy."

"It’s not a fantasy, it’s a nightmare," I snapp

Amelia’s POVI turned sharply toward Rowan, searching his face, desperate for some kind of explanation. His eyes were locked on Sienna and the child. But his expression gave nothing away. No pride, no joy—just a storm brewing beneath the surface. My thoughts were spinning out of control. Why hadn’t he told me he had a son? How could he have kept something this huge from me?But Rowan ignored the storm on my face, slipping seamlessly into charm. His hand rested at the small of my back as he addressed Evangeline."Mother," he said smoothly, "meet Amelia, my special guest this evening."I forced a smile, bending into a respectful curtsy. "Mrs. Lancaster, it’s an honor to finally meet you."Her sharp, ice-blue eyes swept over me from head to toe, leaving my skin prickling. She didn’t smile. Instead, she tilted her chin, tapping one manicured finger against it in thought."Amelia…" she mused, her tone slow and deliberate. "That name sounds awfully familiar." Her gaze narrowed with cool ca

Amelia’s POVAs I pushed into the ladies’ bathroom, grateful for a moment to compose myself, I nearly collided with Victoria. She stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the clasp of her diamond necklace. Her eyes immediately darted to my face, sharp and assessing. “What the hell happened to you?” she asked, arching a brow. Then her lips curved into a cruel smirk. “Sleeping your way to the top, huh?”I froze for a second before shooting her a withering glare. “Says the woman faking an illness to steal a man. I’d say that’s a much worse offense.”Her mouth fell open in feigned shock. She pressed a hand to her chest. “How dare you accuse me of such a despicable thing?”I walked past her to the sink, pulling out my compact mirror and powder. My reflection didn’t lie—messy hair, lips still flushed. I dabbed at my lipstick, my voice cold. “I know you, Victoria. And I know your games.”Her face hardened, the sweet façade slipping for just a second. She stepped closer, lowering her voice t

Amelia’s POV"I didn’t make you believe anything, Tristan. You’ve just been delusional," I managed to say—barely. My voice was trembling with the effort it took to keep my composure. The feeling of Rowan holding me, his rock hard cock pressing into my back while the vibrator continued to pulse, was unraveling me. My panties were so soaked by now I was nervous it would somehow be visible through my dress. Tristan’s face was flushed with rage, his jaw tight. "I can’t believe you, Amelia. How could you betray me like this?""You betrayed her first," Rowan said coolly. His gaze never wavered, and in that moment, it was clear who held the power between them.I gripped Rowan’s sleeve, my body trembling, every nerve on fire. I couldn’t take much more of this. The tension, the heat, the unrelenting thrum inside me—it was too much. I pressed closer to him, desperate for the sweet release only he could give me. "Take me away," I whispered, desperately trying to hold back my moans.Rowan’s m

Amelia’s POVI bit down on a gasp, clutching my champagne flute so tightly I thought the stem might snap. My pulse skipped erratically, my breath catching in my throat. Was Rowan serious?! Here of all places? In the middle of his family’s estate, surrounded by dozens of guests?I shifted my weight from one foot to the other, trying to fight the sensation, trying to look normal. But underneath my dress, my panties were getting soaked already. My cheeks flushed with a color no makeup could conceal.Tristan’s smirk widened as he drew closer, mistaking my blushing for something else entirely. He only stopped when he was so close I feared he’d hear the buzzing inside me."Still reeling from our… moment together?" he drawled, eyes glinting with smug satisfaction.I crossed my arms over my chest in an attempt to hide my hardening nipples."Not at all," I said coldly. Stay sharp, Amelia. Don’t let him see.But my tone wavered, just enough for his arrogance to grow.Tristan chuckled, leaning

Amelia’s POV"I, uh…" I stammered. My throat tightened."It was Tristan, wasn’t it?" Rowan growled, his jaw set in a furious line. "That bastard can’t keep his damn hands off you."Heat flushed my face as shame and panic wrestled inside me. I gave the smallest of nods. "I–it was. But Rowan, I didn’t—""Enough," he cut me off. Before I could protest, he was dragging me through the sea of guests, up the grand staircase, straight to his bedroom. My heels clicked against the polished floor in a frantic rhythm. Once inside, he slammed the door shut behind us. His glare made my heart thud. "Why the hell do you keep getting entangled with that idiot nephew of mine?" he asked, seething."Rowan, I don’t!" My voice cracked with desperation. "I never seek him out—he just—""Do you think he’s better than me?!" His words cut through me, harsh and raw."No!" My hands balled into fists. "I want nothing to do with him! He keeps coming onto me, Rowan! I fight him every time, I swear—"But my pleas se

Amelia’s POVRowan guided me through the crowd like I belonged at his side. The gown he had chosen for me shimmered under the chandelier light, the fabric flowing effortlessly around my legs. For a fleeting moment, I felt almost regal. But the echo of Victoria’s venomous tone and my father’s cold dismissal still cut deep. Their words coiled inside me like snakes. Was I an imposter? Could I ever belong here?"Don’t let her get in your head," Rowan murmured near my ear, his breath warm against my temple. I froze, startled. It was as if he had plucked my thoughts straight out of me.I tilted my face toward him. "Am I that transparent?"His lips curved, just barely. "Only to me." He squeezed my hand gently before steering me toward a small cluster of suited men and jewel-draped women."Rowan Lancaster," one of them greeted, reaching for his hand."Good to see you, Bernard." Rowan’s voice was smooth, confident. He gestured toward me. "Allow me to introduce Amelia. She’s my… very special gu
