Chapter 1 

It was late at night at around 10:30 pm in San Francisco a woman walked passed a street it was dark that she had to make use of a touch light in order to get a clear view of where she was heading to, just when she was about taking a step she felt something around her when she was about to look around she heard some strange voice which she found kind of weird, at first it was frighten, she asked herself "what could that be." while she stood there wondering what on Earth  could have made such a weird sound, she was lost in her thoughts, then she heard a foot steps as if she was been followed by an unknown person, now she was scared because she knew it wasn't natural for all this things to be happening at a time, she knew this was some sort of supernatural powers, she said to her self she turned around to move anyway from that spot  as fast as her legs could go, just when she was about walking away she saw a shadow, and thought it must be a person there, but how could a person be making such an awful noise, "it was a sound of a wild animal." she said, she decided to go see what it was, as she moved closer towards the direction of the sound only few steps ahead of her, someone tapped her on the shoulder she was scared that she had to scream out loud. It was Annie.

"What are you doing here by this time of the night, it could be dangerous?" she asked miss Vivian.

Vivian said loudly, as she gasped out, with breath  

" Oh Annie it's you, I went out to get some things from a nearby store." she said looking towards the direction of where she heard the sound.

"Is there a problem Miss Vivian?" Annie asked, as she tried to get her attention. 

"No Annie, it seems there is something over there, did you hear anything?" She said pointing towards the direction to Annie.

"Maybe you were hallucinating, it nothing serious or perhaps you might have been thinking too much." she said.

"Yeah I guess you are right, maybe I was just taking things too seriously these days, you know I got too much on my head now," she said still trying to catch her breath, and at the same time making a sigh of relief.

"you are right, I would walk you home it could be dangerous for only you, walking alone by this time of the night," Annie said still looking towards that direction to know if anyone was around there.

 "Thank you so much, Annie, I appreciate your effort towards me, by the way where are you off to" she, said with a lot of relief.

"Oh I was just going to get something to eat from a nearby restaurant, I ran out of stuff," Annie said out of fear.

"It often happens to everyone, but you can come home with me if you wish, then we can have dinner together dear" she said with a smile. 

"No miss Vivian, am so sorry I don't really wanna bother you," Annie said with her eyes down to the floor hoping she does not insist.

 "No, don't say that my dear you are not bothering me at all, I would love to have you in my house." Miss Vivian said.  

"A friend offered to take me out on a date tonight, so I would not be able to join you ma, maybe some other time," Annie said trying to cook up some excuses.

"sure" Miss Vivian replied with a long smile.

Annie saw miss Vivian off to her apartment and turned away, then, she made a sign of relief and rushed back to the same spot she meets miss Vivian before.

"Thank goodness miss Vivian did not see anything, I came at the right time to stop her, or else she would have come to know everything, how stupid of me, it was the full moon tonight and I forgot completely to lock up mom and dad, just hope no one saw them before arriving here," she said gladly.

 As she walked up to the place. Mom, Dad she called out slowly to them moving close in their direction. 

By the time she found them they had already transformed into werewolves it's wasn't easy, controlling them as wolves, to make them go under the basement, she tried all she could but failed then she said to them, "I don't care how aggressive you are towards me, you know you can't hurt me because I am also a young wolf, just like you are a werewolf from one pack, I can control you, as been a young she-wolf, I will do anything to make sure you don't cause any harm to others." 

Then she took a rod and said "am sorry mom and dad I have to use this on you, you are not helping me." she took the rod closer to them, they became more aggressive aiming to attack her, she said "this would not help." While she stood there wondering what to do next.

Then it came across her mind to make use of her powers to control them since she had not started transforming yet like them because she was still too young but she has the blood in her vain, which means she can communicate with them through her eyes and can make them calm down to listen, command them to do as she pleases.

Finally, she was able to control them down to the basement and cage them in there and went to bed wondering how she would look like when transforming into a werewolf.

8:00 am Annie rushed down to the basement to unlock the cage because she knew her parents would have transformed back into humans when the full moon was gone.

 "oh no, she jumped up from the bed, I slept late last night and could not meet up with time in the morning, I need to go get mom and dad out of that basement I can't even imagine how they were able to cope in there after transforming into humans, mom, dad." she called out to them as she rushed down the basement. 

"Annie how are you doing my dear, we are so sorry for the troubles we cost you, last night sweetie," Mom said disappointedly.

"Yes dear, we were just not able to control ourselves from making it happen, we tried but the blood was stronger than us my dear" dad said with a voice of regret

"It's okay I completely understand," Annie said while hugging them both

 We love you baby

"Love you too," she said with a long smile on her face

 "Goodness my head is killing me" mom said did you use that rod on us. They all laughed and went away from the basement with the fear of how long would their secret be kept hidden from their enemies.

 "Annie where are you, we are late am ready to go to work, hurry up and let me drop you off at school," dad said in haste

"Am almost through dad, can't they for once let me finish up in peace, rather than dragging me around. I will always have to be in a haste as long as dad is the one dropping me off" Annie said trying to fix her hair.

"Breakfast is ready, come downstairs quickly," mom said trying to set the table

 "Sure mom, just a minute."

"We are gonna be late Annie hurry up."

"Good morning Mom and Dad" She said as she walked up to the dining, they all had breakfast together silently until Mr. Frank broke the silence. Annie's father.

 "That reminds me Annie, you are going to be starting a new life in your school today, and  you know it's gonna be your first time in your new school, so I want you to be cautious baby of the type of people you keep as friends."

 "Sure dad am no longer a baby anymore, I can handle things on my own now, but still promise to be careful so you don't need to worry about me," she said trying to finish up her breakfast.

"Okay, so shall we go now," dad said

"Yeah dad am done, goodbye Mom see you later," Annie said with a sign of kisses to her mom.

"Goodbye sweetheart." mom replied quickly.

They drove away slowly and never say a word to each other until they had reached the school, then Annie came down and paid farewell to her dad.

 It was her first time in that school wondering if she could cope "the school seems to be very big in this city." she said to herself still in search of her class everyone seems to be in a hurry so she decided not to ask and got missed up with the crowd, then she bumped into a young lady of her age called Elisa, who was into zoology while Annie was into pharmacy.

 "hey you! what's your problem can't you see me coming or are you blind? Why is there so much blind people everywhere these days. can't one possibly check is or her eyes before coming out how many time will I get buped up before reaching home today." Elisa said with an angry voice, while talking to herself.

"Am so sorry, am new here, I was just trying to locate my class, I am so sorry I was such in a rush that I did not see you coming," Annie said trying to explain herself, and at the sametime apologizing. 

" it okay we often make mistakes," Elisa said with a smile on her face.

"Perhaps maybe you can help me out," Annie said with the of hope finding her class room soon. As she explains to elisa.

"oh! your class is over there not this direction, you are heading towards"

"Anyway, am Elisa and you?" Elisa said with her hand stretched out

"Nice meeting you ELISA, am Annie," she said with a handshake.

"If you don't mind maybe we can hang out one of these days, and get to know each other better," Elisa said hoping for a good reply

Annie replied quickly "yeah sure I would love to hang out with you" they both agreed on going out after the class, as they departed their separate ways

After the class the two ladies meet outside the school, they took a walk to a quiet place where they both talk about their lives and experience, when Elisa was done, she asks Annie about where she was from. Annie was about saying everything behind their pack secret without noticing when she realized she paused and turn the whole story around after a long discussion among the two ladies then they decided to be friends. Annie was quite not comfortable with the idea but she did not say anything to Elisa she only nodded her head and said "sure we can be friends" as she took her bag and said she had to go now, her parents will probably be waiting for her, they huge each and departed.

Annie hurried home to think of what she almost said before she had to change the topic "oh God I almost spilted everything out to Elisa, I have to be very careful when am around her, she must not come to know anything about me."

The next day Annie decided to go shopping in a mall, when she was done shopping for the things she liked, she turned and was about to go, a guy came from behind named Jessie who claimed to be studying in the same school with Annie.

 "hi" Jessie said as he walked up to Annie. Jessie was a popular guy in school handsome and of course every girl's dream guy. He was a kind of celebrity know for wealth.
