Baylor POV I avoided the packhouse the rest of the day after breakfast. I didn’t want to run into Delania again. Who knows what would happen next? Baylor POV When I went back into the packhouse there I could hear Mitchum laughing hysterically, “That’s a trip, do it again.” I walked into the dining room and Siobhan was sitting with her chair facing away from the table and there was a little stuffed dog sitting on her rounded belly. Mithchum was standing beside her staring at her stomach intently. I thought I was odd, until it looked like the little dog hopped. Baylor POV Meeting during dinner actually turned out to be rather productive. Mitchum volunteered to be the ranked member of the team heading out in the morning to bring the pack members from the caverns home, to act as an ambassador of sorts. Unknown POV Oh how rich is this? Alpha Stephan Leary is traveling with his young Luna and newborn mutt. Given the direction of their travels, I suspect they are heading to Skatom Mochain. Too bad they will never reach their destination. Stephan provided asylum to members of Skatom Mochain and fought against Cillian and his band of misfits that I enlisted to help destroy them. Cilian learned quickly what happens when you fail the King. Well Stephan, you know what they say? No good deed goes unpunished and now is the time for your punishment. Baylor POV “Thanks for that. My brain just froze back there,” I said to Alpha Colin as we ran to follow the warrior. “It will be second nature soon enough, Baylor. Where was this warrior stationed?” he asked. “Border Patrol to my knowledge. Mitchum sets these things up and I just glance at them,” I replied, wishing that I paid more attention to the schedules. When we got to the border I didn't even know what to think. There were two men and a baby. The first man was a wall of muscle. He was dark like a good cup of coffee, his hair was close cropped to his head and though he had facial hair you could clearly see the scowl on his face. Baylor POV When we arrived at the packhouse oddly enough the only person in the living room was Kenneth, my best friend and Beta. Baby Marlon had fallen asleep during the walk back and for that I was thankful, but it wouldn’t be long before he would wake again and be hungry or worse; need a diaper change. When Kenneth spotted me coming through the door he got a confused look on his face. When his mouth opened to say something, I mind-linked him. ‘Go up to my room. We’ll talk there.’ He simply nodded and walked up the stairs. When we got into the room, I laid the pup on my bed before going to sit on Mitchums bed to talk to Kenneth. “You know how Alpha Stephan was supposed to be coming to help build the temporary housing?” I asked Kenneth. “Yeah, he was just waiting for his Luna to have their pup, so they could travel,” he replied casually. “Well Stephan isn’t coming and that is his pup.” I said pointing to where Marlon was laying on my bed. “What are you gonna do Bay?” Kenneth asked.

Siobhan POV I am so happy to finally be able to hold my gift from Selene in my arms. She is absolutely perfect, my little Connie Avery Cashel. I hope that Fiadh is right though, and that Alpha isn’t upset with me. The Moon Goddess told me that Connie and I are an important part of a task she assigned to Alpha. Baylor POV I am blown away by Siobhan’s selflessness and I wouldn’t say it out loud, but maybe just a little intimidated by her new found hutzpah. She took charge of everything and even stood up to me when she felt she was being dismissed. When she pulled her boob out to start feeding Alpha Marlon it was a little weird, but it was like it was natural and normal for her. Luna Freya and the other females came back about an hour after Siobhan had fed Marlon and showed Kenneth and I how to change a nappy. I am debating pulling the Alpha card when the little guy poops though, not sure I can deal with that. At any rate Luna Freya took me down to the kitchen and showed me how to make a bottle for when he wakes next.
