Chapter fourty

I wasn't sure when I was going to tell Dax what the guy who attacked me said because I knew he was going to flip out and I knew I wasn't going anywhere no matter what that guy said. Dax would want to protect me and I didn't want that to mean that he was going to push me away. He would want to send me away so that he could protect me and I wasn't going to have it.

After our dinner date Dax kept asking me and asking me.
