Chapter twenty-two

For days Jen noticed the way Todd acts, he would call Amber into his office and everything would seem great, she could see Amber was gaining more confidence but whenever they were in the public he treats her shabbily, Jen decided it was time to get closer to Amber for information, she had been working with Todd for five years now, she even met Todd before Sarah, his ex wife, she felt she deserves to be with him more than anyone else, she always thought Amber was a pushover, she had never imagined she could be a competition which was why she told her about the interview in the first place, now she has to compete with Petra and Amber and God knows who else. She decided to spend her lunch break with Amber but just as she was opening her office door, Amber was about walking out

“Hey Jen, how can I help you"
