Lia’s POV
Love was not meant to be pure, especially not ours.
I love him, I finally admitted it to myself. I miss him. He is everything I think about, day and night. Yeah… call me silly. The day he tried to talk about love about how he felt for me I shut him up. He was about to confess, and I talked over him like it meant nothing.
But it meant everything, I have always loved Mike. Even when we became best friends. He was not a fre man, he had a freaking girlfriend. Girls, girls… I had to distance myself from him for a while.
But he was just… perfect. The definition of everything. He gifts me, showers me with money, takes me out… does everything.
And that’s the problem.
Because one night, I woke up with a disturbing thought.
What if I just borrow him for a day?
What if I just explore my desire with him?
What if I let him have me… just for one day?
What if… I finally feel fulfilled?
Those thoughts wouldn’t stop running through my head.
I sighed.
“Lia!!!” Mable yelled, snapping me out of my thoughts.
“What are you thinking about, lovie?” she asked.
I was about to speak when she cut me off.
“Nah, don’t tell me it’s about Mike again?” she said, raising a brow.
“Yeah, I’m—”
My phone buzzed.
His text, a smile spread across my lips instantly.
“Do you know he has a girlfriend?” she reminded me.
“Girl, for your peace of mind, ignore that boy!” she said, stuffing clothes into her traveling box.
“I’ll take my leave. Susan will be coming over and don’t let her influence you,” she added cautiously before walking out.
“Bye, lovie! Make sure you enjoy well with your man!” I shouted after her, my voice echoing through the hallway.
I sighed again, ny phone buzzed once more.
Opening the message, I saw he had sent a one-view picture. I clicked it, a credit alert picture.
I groaned, dropping my phone on the bed.
“Come on, Mike… why do you always have to do this?” I texted.
He makes it so hard to let go of him, or maybe… he doesn’t want to let go either.
I dragged myself into the bathroom, deciding to shower before Susan arrived.
After my bath, I stepped back into my room, naked. My reflection caught my eyes in the mirror.
I smirked slightly.
I was a whole damn package, full breasts, soft curves, smooth skin, no marks. Everything clean. Face card? Perfect. No man would resist me.
I sat on my bed, checking his reply.
My breath hitched slightly as my fingers brushed against my clitoris unconsciously.
“You’re my love, that’s why,” he had texted.
I exhaled sharply.
“Holy shit…” I muttered.
His words… his flirting… everything about him got to me. The urge to have him was overwhelming. But for two whole years, I had pretended I didn’t want him, I pretended.
Even his texts alone could make my body react.
I bit my lip, my thoughts spiraling, my body betraying me, rubbing hard on my clitoris.
"Fuck you, mike..." I whispered, moaning out loud after squirting.
I stood up, heading to clean myself up properly before slipping into a sexy gown.
Just then, the door burst open.
Of course, Susan. “Hey, bitchyyy!” she grinned. “Did you miss me?”
I rolled my eyes but smiled, pulling her into a hug.
“Obviously, yes, I missed you.”
She pulled away, scrunching her nose.
“Oh girl, please… something smells weird,” she said, walking toward my bed.
My eyes widened instantly. Oh no!!!
I rushed forward, dragging the bedsheet away quickly.
“You… fucked yourself again?” she asked, raising a brow.
“Nope. We are not having that conversation,” I said quickly, grabbing the sheet and heading out to toss it into the washing machine.
When I came back, my phone buzzed again.
Another message from Mike.
I sighed deeply.
No. Not today. I wasn’t going to let him get into my head today.
I ignored it.
Turning, I saw Susan pulling off her dress, and that’s when I noticed it, a hickey on her neck.
I stared.
“Do you know I really crave that?” I admitted quietly.
“Then what’s stopping you?” she shot back instantly.
“Girl, you’re fine. You can literally get whatever you want, with your body alone,” she teased, playfully tapping my chest. “No man would ever reject your hot body. We only live once.”
I hesitated. “But the person I love… he has a girlfriend,” I said, guilt heavy in my voice.
She scoffed. “Bitch, who told you he’s going to marry her?” she said with a chuckle.
“If I were you, I’d sleep with the guy that’s been driving me crazy like my life depends on it.”
“But… I’ll feel guilty,” I whispered.
“Girl, do you. You want his love, right? Then have him, and let him go after. Mike knows exactly what he’s doing. No guy does all that for ‘just friendship.’ He’s a professional cheat.” she said and I swallowed hard.
“Love isn’t always pure. Not ours,” she added with a smirk. “Me? I mess around, but I still love my man. So do whatever makes you happy.”
She paused, then grinned.
“Your nipples are literally standing, girl.”
I rolled my eyes, but a smile slipped through.
“Come on… what if Mike dies tomorrow?” she added.
“No! He won’t!” I cut in immediately, almost angrily.
“Then do him now—before you regret it,” she said.
Her words sank in. “I’m very sure Maya told you to leave him alone,” she continued. “But you know how she is. Meanwhile, she has a man. And guess what? That man was someone else’s before her.”
I nodded slowly.
“So do you. His girlfriend is not his wife.”
Silence fell between us.
My heart raced.
What if I never get the chance again?
What if I regret it forever?
Finally, I spoke.
“I will do what makes me happy,” I said firmly.
Then louder “I will fuck Mike and I will make him mine tonight!”
“That’s the spirit, girl! Do youuuu!” she cheered.
I grabbed my phone, opening Mike’s messages. I scrolled through quickly until I saw a voice note.
“I never sent a voice note…” I whispered.
Susan snatched the phone and pressed play.
My breath stopped.
“Fuck you Mike” mown moan, the audio ended.
My heart dropped to my stomach.
“Oh my God…” Susan gasped.
“He texted too,” she added, I screamed, covering my face.
I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me whole.
That was beyond embarrassing, It was the end of me.
The next morning, the rain had stopped, leaving London under a pale, cold fog.I woke up slow, the silk sheets of Julian’s bed feeling incredibly soft against my bare skin. My whole body felt heavy, a dull, deep ache resting right between my thighs. It was a constant reminder of exactly what he had done to me against that glass window hours ago. I rolled over, my eyes searching the massive, modern bedroom. The bed beside me was empty, the sheets already cold. My heart did a sudden, painful drop. The reality of the situation hit me like a slap to the face. Julian was forty-five. He was a billionaire. He was my father's best friend. Last night was a beautiful, dirty sin, but today was real life. Had he already left? Was he regretting what he did to a twenty-two-year-old girl? Before the panic could completely take over, the bathroom door opened.Julian walked out, and my breath instantly caught in my throat. He had a white towel wrapped around his waist, his broad chest and stomach stil
The rain in London always felt heavier when you are at somewhere you don’t belong.I stood near the big floor-to-ceiling windows of Julian’s penthouse. Down below, the city lights blurred into a messy sea of gold and grey. In my hand, the glass of scotch felt freezing against my skin, but inside, my whole body was burning. I adjusted the thin strap of my black silk dress, watching my reflection in the dark glass. At twenty-two, I looked exactly like what I was a young girl playing a dangerous game with a man who had already mastered it before I was even born.Julian Vance. He was forty-five, a billionaire whose name could change the stock market with one word, and my father’s closest business partner. He was the definition of untouchable. Everyone respected him. Everyone feared him. He was supposed to be completely off-limits to someone like me.Until tonight."You’re going to break that glass if you hold it any tighter, Lia," his voice came out of the shadows of the large, dimly lit
“You definitely know you don’t need some tequila shots before you can ride me to hell and back,” Jack said while dropping the shot on the table. It was in a small but cute white cup transparent and clear enough for me to see the fluid I had gulped down a few minutes ago.“Fuck, it’s hot as ever,” I muttered. It burnt down my throat while I jiggled it and swallowed it lightly. I looked at it while I maintained my composure.“I mixed it with some gin,” Jack confessed while he laughed at me, seeing the way I had squeezed my face like that of an old lady.Jack was way older than me. And a quick introduction before anyone starts to ask me questions that are quite inappropriate: Jack was my mechanic well, he wasn't definitely just a mechanic, but he knew best how to make me feel like a woman unlike bob . He knew how to make me feel like I was the only one in the world. There were a lot of men in the world with dicks, but Jack? Jack was loyal, and his dick belonged to me.He wasn’t like Bo
It was late already, and it was starting to get windy. My body got cold, the wind brushing against my skin in a manner I couldn’t quite describe. The more I tried covering my body with my clothes, the more I realized I had forgotten they were quite wet,wet enough for me to have a cold and not recover from it. I held my umbrella tightly, clutching it within my palms while I stared at the road ahead.“Bob isn’t here yet?” I questioned. I had gotten off my shift really late at work and, you know what? When I absolutely thought things would get better, my phone stopped working immediately after water dropped on the screen.I felt like screaming it all out, yet something kept reminding me that Bob was nearby - my husband, Bob. The one who claimed to love me like his life depended on it. To be very honest, Bob was everything. He was kind, he was good, he was special to me, and he was loving. But… there was one thing that made it super hazardous: his sex was bad.I rushed towards the house
Kate's POV The rain had stopped, and the sun was coming through the window in long, golden lines. I woke up slowly, feeling a heavy, warm weight over my waist. I opened my eyes and saw Jack’s arm. He was still asleep behind me, holding me close. I could feel his steady breath on the back of my neck. My body felt a little sore, but it was a good kind of sore. It reminded me of everything we did on the sofa last night.I turned around carefully to look at him. Even in his sleep, Jack looked strong. His face was calm, and his thick eyelashes rested on his tan skin. I reached out and ran my fingers over his chest hair. I couldn't believe it. My best friend was finally in my bed.Jack’s eyes fluttered open. When he saw me, a big, lazy smile grew on his face. He pulled me closer until our noses were touching."Good morning, beautiful," he whispered. His voice was deep and raspy from sleep."Good morning," I said. "Did you sleep okay?""Best sleep of my life," he said. He moved his hand dow
Kate's POV My best friend’s name is Jack. We have been friends since we were little kids. He is tall, he has kind eyes, and he is very, very strong. He is always there for me. If I am sad, he makes me laugh. If I need help, he is the first person I call. But lately, when I look at him, I don't feel like a "friend" anymore. I feel a fire in my stomach. I want him to hold me. I want him to look at me and see a woman, not just the girl he grew up with.It was a very rainy Tuesday night. The thunder was loud, and the rain was hitting my windows very hard. I was home alone, and I was feeling very lonely. I decided to call Jack."Hey," I said when he picked up. "The storm is very bad. Are you busy?""I’m never too busy for you, Kate," he said. His voice was warm and deep. "I’ll be there in ten minutes."When he arrived, he was soaking wet. His t-shirt was stuck to his chest, and I could see the shape of his hard muscles and his abs underneath. His hair was messy and dripping. He looked so
