Chapter 43
I started leaning down to the surface of the water to row by my hands to the right way. But suddenly I fell down into the water.
“Ohh!” I screamed.
“Peanut!” I heard him screaming.
Then I heard the splash of the water and saw him swimming to me. I could have swum by myself, but I panicked and froze. He grabbed my waist and we started swimming up to the surface.
“Thank you!” I panted. We approached the canoe and sat in it. “Okay! Let’s continue the way.”

When I came home, I didn’t say anything and went straight to bed. In the morning, I woke up at six A.M. and decided not to go for a walk.
