Threats:
They rushed back to the room Nora kept checking down the hall to see if Dante was coming up. Jace swung open his door and stepped aside letting Nora go first. Nora scooted into the room quickly. It was not the room she woke up in. This was his actual bedroom. She leaned back against the door looking around the room. It was pretty plain, a desk in the corner with an open laptop. A Tv facing the bed, there was a small picture frame on his night stand and clothes were scattered about. Jace flicked on the night before heading to his walk-in closet. She heard him rummaging around in there before coming back out.
“I don't know if they'll fit but at least they'll cover you.” Jace smiled holding up a tshirt and a pair of boxers.
“Yours?” Nora smiled while
Sorrow: Kip grabbed a hold of the control board yelling, the noise coming out of him was pure anger. He looked down the video surveillance and everyone of his test subjects was dead. Twist in odd shapes the room was destroyed. Blood splattered across it. He didn't understand what he was doing wrong. More blood was all he could think of. They lasted longer but not enough to have them win a battle. He felt the control panel begin to buckle under his grip. “Alpha?” Taylor came to the control station. “Did you get my message to Jace?” Kip asked, his eyes still scanning the screens as if he hoped one would still be alive. “Yes Alpha.” Taylor nodded glancing over his shoulder at the screens. Kip slammed his fist in
Emotions:“Hey easy killer.” Drake said walking into the training room.Logan had been down here for hours, the punching bag he was assaulting looked like it was seconds away from breaking apart. Logan’s knuckles were bloody, the punching bag smeared with it. He heard Drake enter but ignored his comment. He rear back and slammed his fist into it again. The bag dropped from the ceiling and a cloud of dust blew up around it as it did.“And this is why we can't have nice things.” Drake smirked, leaning against the wall.“Any smartass leads?” Logan asked, catching his breath as he turned around.“No, no contact has been made. Although there is a situation a
Sweet Dreams: Nora’s dreams were nothing but blood filled. She kept seeing everyones face and now Joel’s face was added to her nightmare. She jolted up right in her sleep throwing something very heavy off of her. She heard him grunt as she looked over at him. The moonlight flooding in from the bedroom window shone perfectly on him, highlighting him. His face was frowning as if he was in pain. Nora looked at him, her hand reaching out and brushing over his face. At her touch his brows moved back into a relaxed position. She smiled seeing his reaction to her. He was shirtless, her eyes wandered down his defined chest and abs. Her fingertips brushing down over his neck and then slowly down his chest. She watched his skin shiver under her touch. He rolled over on to his back groaning softly in his sleep. She smiled watching him unknowingly search for her. She scooted closer to him and watched him relax. She smiled when he was sleeping and he seeme
Olive Branch: Nora follows him out the front door stopping and looking towards the woods were drove on you once was she going to chase her chest feeling heavy. "What happened to his body?" Nora asked, her voice cracking. " I had him brought to the morgue. Does he have family?" Jace said, trying to gauge her feelings. "His mom lives on the outskirts of town in their family home. His dad passed away a few years ago. I don't even know how to tell her I didn't even know what to do …he had…he…his head ..I.." she stopped talking, not being able to finish her sentence. "It's ok. I will go with you. I've had to do this once or twice. We might need to borrow and wreck his car. Better a
Biting Your Tongue: Jace walked around to her side of the car opening her car door and holding his hand out for her. Small smile flashed across her face as she took his hand and got out of the car. She realized where they were. This was the same place Jace had taken her where she got the other wolf book. Nora looked at him as she got out of the car wondering how the book keeper was going to help them. "Come on." Jace said, ignoring the look. He grabbed a hold of her hand and they walked into the book store. Walking in the bell ding and the man behind the counter came out. His face at first was very pleasant but seeing Jace it changed to nervousness. "Mr. Knight, have you come to return the books you borrowed?" He asked, trying to be brave.
Dreams: Just when she had decided to go to him. Thomas returned a puzzled look on his face. Jace stretched sitting up looking at him waiting for him to explain. Thomas took a deep breath looking nervously about, he sensed the tension between Nora and Jace and didn't want to make any more ripples. “I need more time but I will tell you what I have found out so far.” Thomas started and quickly added good news. Jace motioned for him to get on with it and Nora gave him her undivided attention. Thomas came and sat by Jace but as far over as he could. “Ok i haven't figured out the whole story but so far i've got that the original hunters were cursed with abilities. They were given powers to fight the original bloodline of the first wolves. The strange thing is you would think they would use the word bles
Home away from Home:“Hey. Hey. Nora.” Jace said concerned shaking her; he had pulled the car over when he saw her having a nightmare.“Cole! Jace!” Nora yelled jumping up, warm tears slipping from her eyes.Jace caught her as she sat up quickly by her shoulders. Her eyes looked shocked to see him and then he watched a rush of relief wash over her. Was she dreaming about him?“Nora, it's ok. I’m right here.” Jace told her calmly as he wiped the tears off her cheek. She exhaled the breath that she was holding in as she looked at his face. Her hand came up to touch him gently as if confirming he was in fact right in front of her. She shut her eyes and leaned her forehead a
Attack: Dinner was nice, the sadness faded away and they talked about life. Nora was helping Loretta out in cleaning up when she noticed Jace’s eyes seemed to be glossed over. She knew he was talking to the pack. Loretta also picked up on it. “He work a lot? He looks like a man whose life is his job.” Loretta said motioning to the glossed over look. “Yeah he doesn't get a break. He’s responsible for a lot of people.” Nora said softly. “Well that's good because he has initiative and integrity. But in the long run does that leave any time for you.” Loretta said with a wink. “He makes time for me.” Nora smiled, glancing over to him. “So are you two serious, serious?” Loretta as
