You know, as someone who had been a fan of romance novels and films alike in my teenage years, I always found it very astounding when a female lead would unexpectedly wind up pregnant with the child of the hot and charismatic male lead, in fact, it was a popular trope for me. But now that the exact same scenario was happening in my life, all I could feel was complete numbness.
