I woke up not long after I was wheeled to the hospital ward. The first thing I saw was Nia sitting by my bedside, fretting.Not long ago, I would have been touched to see her waiting for me. Now, though, I just felt annoyed to see her once I woke up.I turned my head away, unwilling to look at her face. “Nia, let’s get a divorce! From now on, we’ll live our separate lives.
