I didn't know if I was making the right or the wrong decision but all I knew was that everything I was doing was because of the child. I have been in a situation where I wasn't only devoid of my father’s love but of my both parents as well.

The look on Conan’s face showed how pissed he was with me and he left me at the hospital, claiming that the driver would take me home although he didn’t mention Kayla, I would make sure that Kayla was taken along as well since the doctor said she was okay.

The drive to Conan’s house was silent while I sat next to the driver. Kayla sat in the passenger’s seat, giggling and scrolling through her phone. Anytime the driver hits a bump, she would scream and yell at the driver to drive carefully so that it wouldn’t affect the child, she would also threaten to report him to Conan.

Tired of the constant yelling, I turned to look at Kayla with a bright smile on my face. “Kayla, I don't think that you should fault him for the bumps. I know th
