“She’s performing a vîrginity test.”

For a moment I just stared at him, not believing my own ears. “What?”

“A virginîty test.” He repeated. And all I heard was his words from the night before, ‘I will know all your secrets.’

“No!” I started to sit up. But he pushed me down. The gentle hands on my legs, had me going in a frenzy as I kicked and tried to pull away from Antonio. “Stop touching me!” I snapped at the woman. Turning to him, I said, “You can’t do that to me, Antonio.”
