Chapter 1 - Red-haired wolf

I was on my way to work and even though I wasn't late, I was still running on the sidewalk because my sister slept at her boyfriend's house and she drove there with my car.

I was already halfway there when I heard a soft canine cry coming towards the left side of the forest, Because it was so quiet I thought it wouldn't be close, but I still headed towards the sound of the crying.

"It seems that in the end it was close" I said after I passed one of the trees and saw a wolf with reddish fur "It's going to be okay, buddy" I said as I crouched down and looked at the bear trap.

Damn hunters!

I disarmed the bear trap and then removed the paw of the red-furred wolf who ended up letting out a grunt due to pain.

"I hope you're awake Cristina" I said, taking out my phone.

I called my sister, Cristina, who in addition to having my car was also at her boyfriend's house.

Someone answered the phone and from the voice I could tell it was my sister's boyfriend.

"Hello?"

"David, where's Cristina?"

"Just came out of the bathroom, I'll pass it to her"

"It's OK."

"Hi little sister, you found another injured animal, right!?"

"That's right!"

"In which part of the forest?"

"Let's say halfway there"

"I'm on my way!"

I hung up the phone and waited for her while I talked to the wolf to hold on a little longer.

After a few minutes I heard the sound of a car stopping, followed by the sound of the car door opening and closing.

"I'm here, sorry for the delay, little sister." Cristina said and I heard the sound of the trunk being opened "It's good that you always leave this here" she spoke and I noticed that she closed the trunk because of the sound "Bear trap again?" she asked as she brought a stretcher.

"Yes" I replied sighing at the end "I wonder if the rangers are just there for show in here" I said in an angry tone of voice and Cristina laughed.

"Hey, I'm a forest ranger, did you forget!?" David spoke in disbelief.

"Oh, hi David" I said, a little surprised "Sorry, but I didn't even realize you were there."

"Wow, after this I'm leaving" he said pretending he was going to leave.

"Ok David, I'm sorry." I said and he smiled "Now, please help me put the wolf on the stretcher and Cristina please open the passenger door."

While Cristina went to the car to open the passenger door, David and I carefully picked up the wolf and placed him on the stretcher.

"How are we going to keep him from falling off the stretcher while the car is moving?" David asked while pushing the stretcher with me.

"I'll go after him, and just take the mattress off that stretcher" I answered.

We stopped next to the car that had the passenger door open and I noticed that Cristina was already in the driver's seat.

"1, 2.. and..." I said at the same time as David before we carefully removed the mattress from the stretcher together because of the injured wolf.

David was the one who got into the car first while holding one part of the mattress together with the wolf, then I got in while holding the other part of the mattress.

"I'll stay back here too" - David spoke.

"Ok, pay attention" I said after I closed the car door "Step on the gas, Cristina!"

After a while, we are already at the zoo's veterinary clinic, I work there as a veterinarian and just now I was disinfecting the red-furred wolf's paw once again. Even though I had already done this in the car, I thought it would be better because I didn't have the bandage because I had forgotten it here at the clinic, and there was a chance of it getting infected again because the wolf licked himself minutes after we got out of the car, and yes, he almost fell because of it.

Cristina and David left after I insisted a lot, because both of them also had to go to work, so it was just me and the wolf in that veterinary clinic.

"Okay, now please don't lick yourself again because I'm going to take the belt" I spoke and the wolf just looked at me with his green eyes"

I turned around and went to one of the dressers that were there, opened the top drawer and grabbed the headband that was there.

"Now let's bandage" I said turning around "MY GOD!" I screamed in surprise and ended up letting go of the banner when I saw a being there.

This being was a man who was on the stretcher where the red-furred wolf was supposed to be, but what surprised me the most was not just the fact that the wolf had disappeared and there was a man there, but because the man was naked.
