“This is not kaun Banega Crorepati.”

Ranveer's POV

"Sir why didn't you tell her that you are marrying her to save her?" Harsh asked.

"Even if her Dad is wrong but still she loves her Dad a lot so if I had told her the truth she would have got devastated," I told him.

“And her Dad is her only family,” I continued.

But the truth is that I am marrying her not only to save her, but I also like her a lot.

The first time I saw her, unknowingly, she made a place in my heart.

I want to always see that smile on her face she had when I saw her for the first time.

My mobile phone rang and it was Mr Mathur and he said that she agreed to the marriage.

I asked him to tell her that I wanted to meet her.

I wanted to clear few things with her.

At around 4.10 p.m. my receptionist called and informed me that she was here.

I told her to send Miss Mathur to my cabin.

She was looking simple yet beautiful in white and green salwar with green leggings.

"So your Dad informed me that you agreed for the marriage?" I asked as she came in and stood before me.

"Yes," she replied.

"So Miss Mathur, I had given you two choices. Can you please tell me what were the two choices?" I asked.

"Either I give you your money or marry you," she said.

"Yes, so you don’t have five lakh, right?" I asked.

"I had asked you a question," I said, as she did not answer.

"No, I don’t have five lakhs," she replied.

And if you had five lakhs?"

"I would have given it to you instead of marrying you," she replied.

“I would have never married you,” she continued and I smiled.

I know Naina that you are angry with me right now and I am okay with that as long as your Dad does not get married you to that drug addict.

I know one day I will make a place in your heart.

"So you are marrying me because your Dad lied to me and took money from me and now he cannot give it back to me?"

"Yes," her voice bought me out of my thought.

"So, you are marrying me by your choice?" I asked, and she was again quiet for few seconds but mumbled a small 'yes.'

"Then am I not forcing you, right?” I asked.

"You would have given me any other option," she said.

"This is not 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' that I will give you options and thank to god that at least I gave an option and didn’t do anything. Right?" I asked and once again she nodded her head in a 'yes.'

“The money which your Dad spend on drinking was my hard earned money, Naina. I worked day and night to earn that money,” I told her, truthfully.

“I am sorry on behalf of my Dad.”

“You don’t have to say sorry,” I told her.

“So I am not forcing you right?” I asked, once again.

“No,” she said slowly.

“I just gave you two choices, and you chose one of it. Right?” I asked, again and she once again nodded in a yes.

“Is your decision of marrying me final?” I asked.

“Yes,” she said.

“Because once you are mine, you are only mine, understood?” I asked.

“Yes,” she mumbled.

“Now you can leave Naina,” I said and she left hurriedly.

I went to meet my Mom. She run a NGO for women and that’s why she is busy most of the day.

I rang the doorbell and Mom opened the door.

"Mom I want to tell you something," I said as soon as I entered the house.

"First sit down and then we can talk," Mom said and I sat on the sofa.

"So now tell me what do you want to tell me?" she asked as she went to the kitchen and bought a glass of water for me and then she sat beside me.

"Mom I am getting married," I said and for few seconds, for almost a minute she was quiet.

"What?" she asked after some time.

"I am getting married," I told her, again.

"I heard that but why so sudden? Is everything okay and who is she? How did you meet her?" she asked numerous questions at a time.

"Her name is Naina Mathur and how and where we met, I will tell you everything but not now," I told her.

“Okay you are old enough to make your decisions. Do you love her?” she asked.

I remembered the first day I saw her.

And, I realized how every day my heart was searching for a glimpse of her after that day.

“I like her,” I said and she nodded in a yes.

“Promise me you will never hurt your wife,” she said.

“I promise Mom, I will never hurt Naina.”

Naina has a special place in my heart.

I can’t imagine of hurting her.

"Let's have dinner together," she said as she bought two plates of rice and chola curry and we had our dinner together.

It has been months since we had our dinner together.

"Okay, Mom I will leave," I said as we finished our dinner.

"Okay, and don’t forget to call me at your wedding," she joked as she kissed me on the forehead.

"Of course, you will be there at my wedding."

"What? Today you shocked me by saying you are getting married and tomorrow you will shock me by saying that you have got married," she joked once again and laughed.

"You know I will not do such thing as you are the most important person in my life," I said and she hugged me.
