"Why are you asking me such a question?" Denver questioned back.

I turned my face away from his on his lap. "Your uncle said that the only way of getting your powers out of me is by my death. Isn't that so? I want to know why you haven't done it." I explained.

"So you remembered everything that happened last night?" he asked.

"Only to the point that my soul was almost squeezed out of my body by a demon you called your uncle. Why do you ask? Did anything else happen?" I asked.

"No no. Of course not." Denver answered.
