"I have one final request." I said, finally feeling a bit bolder.

He sighed again. " What is it?"

I breathe in deeply. "I want to spend the holidays with my family. It's our family tradition, and I've being so every year."

"Hmmm it's very important." I said eagerly.

"As a Luna, your appearance will be needed at the celebrations back at my pack."

My countenance changed.

"But I will make sure that you spend quality time with your family as well." He continued.

"Thank you." I breathed at last.

He bent down again and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. " You don't need to thank me, I just want you to be happy. I want to take of all that concerns you."

'As If I can't take care of myself.'

Then to my utter surprise, he pecked my cheeks. It was not sexual. It was an innocent kiss, one could give to a friend or colleague . But it was enough to push me off the edge, I could barely breathe. I needed to rush out immediately, otherwise I would end up tearing his shirt.

"I think I need to get going now." I winced and backed away, jumping off the chair.

He slanted his head and regarded me with a smirk. "We'll be leaving in twenty minutes. Just collect the few things you may need." He raked me from top to bottom.

"As pretty as the robe looks, I'd prefer if you're properly dressed you know? For the journey."

I blushed and ran out of the library. I didn't stop until I reached my room.

My life was screwed.

Few minutes later , I was dashing around the room along with Olivia, looking for the most suitable things to go with.

I changed into a black leggings and a blue hoodie. I wanted to be covered as much as possible, especially as I would be traveling for long with Aiden.

"Blair you'll be fine. Just relax." Olivia assured me. "Your wolf is in love with him. He'd never hurt you." She said softly.

"What about Mark?" I asked Olivia while looking at my engagement ring.

"He'll be fine. You just have to break up with him. It's the best option now."

"I'm not breaking up with him." I cut her off. "Aiden will reject me and I'd make sure of that." I was determined.

"There you go again. Your mate is your gift, Blair. And by the way you almost killed Antonio, I'm not sure you don't want him." Olivia rolled her eyes.

"For your information, it was my wolf not me. I don't love Aiden." I snapped.

"You don't love Mark either. You're just fond of him." She pointed out. "Why then are you going with Aiden huh? When you can just tell him you're engaged and leave the pack." Olivia snapped back.

"I'm trying to avoid a war. I just want us to settle this peacefully."

"From the look in your eyes it's certain you want to be with Aiden. Just admit it. That's all." Olivia rolled her eyes again.

I sighed.

There's really no point arguing with wolves, and Olivia was one of them.

Aiden and Antonio exchanged glares.

"If you ever do so little as to harm the hair on my sister's head, I will kill you." Antonio threatened, his tone was serious.

"I'll take good care of her, that I can assure you." Aiden smiled.

They exchanged handshakes, and I was huddled into a waiting SUV. It felt like I had prevented a war.

Aiden slid next to me, and we started for God knows where. I could feel his eyes on me as I stared outside the window.

"Not wearing a dress today?" He asked mischievously.

I flipped my head towards him. How does what I'm wearing concern you?"

"I like short dresses." He grinned.

"Am I supposed to dress to please you?"

"If you wish." He whispered.

"Any other orders your highness?" I asked sarcastically.

"How many robes do you have?" He asked, his eyes all over my body.

"Pervert!" I muttered under my breath. I was soon going to regret it.

I was suddenly pinned to my seat, his face very close to mine.

"What did you just call me?" He asked through gritted teeth.

"Uhhhh nothing." I lied , looking away quickly. His driver didn't budge, as if he was already used to us bantering in the car.

"I heard it." He narrowed his eyes

I've had enough of his nonsense. If he wanted to hear it, then I don't mind calling him that.

"Pervert. I called you a pervert because that is what you are!" I was seething in anger and so was he.

He grabbed my cheeks a little too tight for my discomfort. "I won't tolerate such insolence. I am your Alpha, and you will show me the respect I deserve!" His eyes flashed in anger.

I wanted to hurl some more insults, but my cheeks were being squeezed a little too tightly, so I just glared at him.

He pulled my lips to his and kissed me deeply. I didn't want to have another make out session in the car, but after a few seconds of teasing, I finally gave up. His tongue began to slide into my mouth, and allowed mind to meet and respond.

I moaned involuntarily as he trailed series of kisses down my neck. I arched my back against his chest.

That's the funny thing with mate bonds. It's hard to resist the sexual urges. Once your mate touches you, your whole body starts to respond. The Wolf slowly takes over. It only follows it's animal instinct.

He suddenly stopped kissing me, his lips curled into that evil smile of his. "This is just the beginning of your punishment. You'll be appropriately punished for your insolence later."

I was suddenly angry over my stupidity.

"Do I look like a baby to you?"

He narrowed his gaze before smiling.

"You want respect? Then earn it Mr Casanova. Respect is reciprocal." I shrilled .

He was furious, and it was visible in his face. But that was what I wanted. I wanted him to become fed up, and reject me.

He didn't say anything, instead he kept looking ahead in the front. I realized the car had stopped moving. Have we arrived already? It was barely a thirty minutes ride. His pack could not be so close to mine.

I looked out curiously and to my amazement, I spotted a private jet a little distance away.

Aiden exited the vehicle and pulled me out.

"What's all this?" I asked angrily.

"We'll fly to Jade moon pack. It's faster that way, now come on." He snorted.

I admired the white private jet. Olivia was right, Aiden was stinking rich.
