Brishor looked at Chezzal. The feeling they experienced when Meryl said that she was not going to live more than a hundred years—it sliced their hearts with a jagged shard. 

“And you both look so young even though you are hundreds of years old. I will start losing my youth in a few years. My skin will become wrinkly. Will you still like to stay with me?” asked Meryl, doubting their conviction about mates. “The fact that you both are not getting older means that you are immortal, but the truth is that I will die.” 

Chezzal shifted uneasily in his place, while Brishor placed his palm on her cheek and brushed the soft skin with his fingers. “We will find a way to make you immortal,” he said in a quiet voice that was etched with worry.

Love the storyline. Most of the mates issues are due to poor communication I hope that they resolve those issues.

I like the story so far, but as her mates shouldn't they have listened to her in the beginning and found out about the life she had been living?
