“Kaerlia! Wake up!” I groaned, rubbing my eyes as a voice kept calling me.

“I'm up, I'm up, jeez.” I muttered, lifting myself off the bed, shielding my eyes from the bright light.

I opened my eyes to see I was no longer in my room, but in a field with tall grasses around me… Feeling a pull in my arm, I turned to see Lorraine looking bright and healthy.

She was no longer looking lean and her eyes were full of life, her smile had a lot of energy in it and her brunette hair had its shine.

“Aret, dear, I have been calling you for a while now, what's gotten into you?” She asked, making tears fall freely from my eyes.

“Lorraine! It's time for lunch!” We both turned to see a figure standing beside a house, calling out to Lorraine from a distance.

“I'll be there soon, brother!” She replied with a wave, making me gasp in horror.
