Six

TIA’S POV

“ I will come and visit you everyday.” My mom assured before kissing my forehead and heading back inside her car.

It was the alpha's idea to host the pack members who were yet to shift in the main pack house for whatever reason.

My mom tried to speak to him to exclude me but it didn't work. So here I was with my suitcase standing in front of the main pack building.

I watched my mom drive away. I didn't know how this was going to be but I felt nervous.

It was the first time I had to separate from my parents.

“ Tia.” I turned my head and it was the same man who drove me to Alpha Orion's office a few days ago.

“ Beta Vincent.” He said and I noddee my head.” Your room is ready.” I grabbed my suitcase.” Let me help you.” He walked over and took the suitcase from me.

I whispered a small thank you as he walked me into the building.

The main pack house wasn't only huge but clean and beautiful.

Central pack was indeed one of the richest packs in our world. The interior alone speaks a lot about the pack.

I let gaze ran around the huge space and then the stairs that obviously leads to the different rooms in the building.

Two females who were properly here for the same reason as I was stoped to greet beta Vincent.

They looked younger than I was and I couldn't help but feel embarrassed and worried at the same time.

I was eighteen yet I haven't shifted.

“ Are you okay?” Beta Vincent noticed my sudden change of mood but I assured him I was okay.

Not like was going to convince Alpha Orion to change his mind.

We climbed the two layered stairs to a large hallway.

Cleaned, warm and quite. I looked around wondering where everyone was.

“ This is your room.” Beta Vincent's voice slide through my thought and I looked at the black door in front of me.” Don't hesitate to call me if you need anything.” He said and I nodded.

But I slight frown settled in my eyes and he chuckled.” Shoot.” He said and I swallowed.

“ Really, it's okay.”

“ Are you always this patient with the rest?” I asked.

Showing me to my room should be the work of the omegas not a beta.

“ Not like I have a choice.” He said and my frown deepens. Confused.

“ What do you mean?”

“ Forget it. Settle first and see if there is anything in this room that you don't like.” He blushed me off.

I watched his broad back dissapeared through the hallway.

I twisted the knob and it opened.

My eyes widened.

The room spacious, much bigger than my room back at my parents place and it seems to have almost everything.

The bedside light seemed expensive and the king size bed was big enough for three.

The decoration was beautiful. The small couch at the window feels perfect and the large bed.

The room smells great and I love every bit of it.

I drag my gaze down the bed to the large window at the side.

It even has a study table and a chair at the corner.

I dragged my suitcase in while looking around the room.

My cell phone suddenly rang in my pocket and it was my mom.” Are you okay living there, should I come and pick you up?”

“ No mom. I'm fine.” I said and she let out a sign.” What about the room that was assigned to you. Are you comfortable?” My gaze settled on the study table.” I'm good, mom “ I said.

“ Don't hesitate to call me if something comes up.”

“ Okay, I will have to unpack. I will call you when I'm done.” I hanged up the call and looked at the room for one more time before pulling my suitcase to the wardrobe.

I unpacked my clothes before taking off my dress and heading to the bathroom.

I stood under the warm shower for a few minutes. I didn't know how I was going to survive here but I didn't want to think about it. I better not or maybe I was scared to let my mind draft to that part.

The only reason why my old pack tolerated me was because of my parents who were tbr gamma of tbr pack.

But here my father was just supervisor. My mom, well , she hasn't found a job yet which meant she was a stay at home mom.

I shut my eyes and let the water run down on me.

My white hair which the world was clueless about fall behind me soaked wet.

‘ Come to my office now.’ My eyes flipped opened abruptly as my sight landed on tbr closed door.’ I'm waiting for you.’ the voice came again and it sounded familiar.

Alpha Orion?

It suddenly hit me but how was that possible?

I haven't even shifted so how come he was able to mindlink me?

I froze.’ Tia?’ he called my name and goosebumps raised on my skin as if it was the first time he was saying my name.

My inside twisted strangely and my fave turned red as if he was here.

‘ Tia?’ he called my name again.

I cleared my throat. I didn't know how to reply him because I have never used the mindlink before and I didn't know how.

In my old pack only those who have wolves could mindlink.

But here I could hear him through the mindlink.

‘ I'm waiting.’ his deep voice dropped in the mindlink.

Wait. Did he say hr was waiting?

I dropped out if the bathroom with a towel around my chest. I chose a blue jeans and a black top.

I tied my original hair and covered it with the black wig my mom got for me.

It fits perfectly.

Almost impossible for someone to notice it was fake.

I brushed my hair before lunching out of the room.

I didn't know which way was his office. I was debating on which way to go when beta Vincent appeared.

“ This way.” He gestured towards the left and I followed him.

We walked for about two minutes before reaching his office building.

It wasn't far from the main pack building.” I have things to take care of. I hope you will find you way back?” He asked and I nodded.

I stood behind the office door hesitating but I finally knocked.

Unlike the first time I didn't hear anything from inside so I pushed it opened.

He was standing by the window with a glass of whatever drink in his hand.

His eyes burned on me as I stepped in with silent.

“ Have a seat.” He gestured to the couch.” How are you feeling?” My eyes drowned in shock.

Was he asking me how I was doing?

Was it because of what happened on the day of the initiation?

“ I'm fine.”

“ Do you like your room?” He shocked me again with his second question.

Did I like my room?

He walked over from the window and sat the glass before looking up at me.” Do you want anything there changed?”

I shook my head and he nods his head.” I'm glade you like your room.” He sounded pleased which didn't fit his personality.

Everyone knew he was the most ruthless and feared Alpha.

“ When do you plan to go back to school?” he too his seat behind his table.

“ I can go back school?” I asked, surprised because my mom told me I would return to school after we settle, in better in other words finds a job.

” Of course.”

“ I need to confirm with you and I let Vincent handle the rest. You can go to school tomorrow if you want.” He said and almost jump up in my seat.” Really!?” I yelled in excitement.

“ I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell.“ I covered my mouth with my palm.

“ Your phone.” He stretched his hand for my phone. His gaze sat on me and for some reasons I couldn't resist handing him my cell phone.

I placed my phone in his hand.” You lock.”

I took it back and opened the lock.

” This is my number. Call me anytime.” He said handing my phone back to me.

His number?

I accidentally bumped into his gaze and I felt stuck in his deep mysterious red eyes.

" You are welcome, Tia." he was suddenly in front of me.
